Nice lunch with friends on a weekday... pleasant staff and good service, but food was average.

Stayed overnight at this lovely village inn. Very friendly welcome and lovely room.Delicious breakfast.Would definitely go back.

that's just the best pub I've ever visited. we always come and it gets better and better. eating is wonderful, the environment is exquisite. and sophie, bob and the team are so welcoming. we had the best silvester here. thanks, young, you rock! best pub in england!

we look forward to a hearty breakfast in the white hard. they are very dog friendly and always give a warm welcome ila (our dog) and us. they have both a continental and more traditional menu. we both love full english breakfast, so can not comment on the continental breakfast, but can vouch that the full english is very delicious! it is a pretty land pub complete with doggy kisses, rustic decor and log kamine. the pub garden is also very sweet and we hope to stop in the pub garden for lunch or dinner. look at our blog at ilathetoller. for a full review.

I had not really expected that maybe the best experience as I booked for Sunday lunch on Mother's Day, which is just a little less stupid than to choose valentines for a relaxed time. I was beautifully surprised. very welcoming owners, attentive and friendly staff, open wood fire and even knocked me down on the price of my request after turning around with their menu; the most people to the high sky and back annoyed and in the rule leads to a financial penalty to stop me from doing it again. I'm glad. I'm happy. well cooked bark. beautiful yorkshire pudding. will return.

The atmosphere is excellent and the pub is a proper country pub. It was busy and we were there for lunch. Staff were friendly and found us a table for 2 near the bar even though they were fully booked. We ordered our food which did take a while to come out, but we appreciate it was busy. Unfortunately, only one meal came out and we had to wait 15 minutes for the next one so my partner sat waiting with the food going cold. I had to ask twice to find out where our food was. Eventually it arrived and we were really pleased the food was delicious and the portions were very good. The belly of pork was very nice and there were generous amounts of gravy. For the attention of Rob Goodier, Upham Inns. We stayed at the White Hart on 5 November in one of your double rooms for a special occasion on our way to a family celebration. When we arrived we were informed that you were having 'issues ' with the boiler. An electric heater had been put in our room and we were advised there should be some hot water. The heater was fine and warmed the room but there was absolutely no hot water. We had dinner in the pub that evening and were told that there would be some hot water for a shower in the morning. We got up early in the morning and ran and ran the hot water but it was stone cold so we could not shower as it was freezing cold. We complained at break...

we thought they would like to know that the white hard awarded 5 stars on gastrohub. here is the review of the website. a memory string was forced into dads when we passed a sign for harding. we followed the sign and found ourselves at the white hard in south harding. we could immediately feel the mysterious pub magic in the air. a friendly reception, a small bar, a lightly worn parquet floor and the smell, which is especially the finest English pubs. we took a table at the kamin, which unfortunately was not illuminated, although we had a candle on the table that was. we, especially I, were very excited when we plucked through the menu. great variety, fair prices and a clear eye for imaginat...
