"Visited with my 2 year old daughter as a treat, ordered chicken nuggets for her and a burger for myself. Waited 45 minutes, during which was told a few times it would only be a few minutes. Lots of large orders coming out from the kitchen for customers who came in after me. When the food finally arrived it wasn 't worth it. Burger order was wrong and looked a mess. When I questioned the staff I was actually told to 'smile, its christmas ' and also given the choice of, and I quote, 'redo the burger, have my money back or do one ' not impressed with the staff. And will be having my money back. Don 't bother wasting your money here."

The food here was fantastic. Had to wait a while for it but it was definitely worth the wait. Would highly recommend. Nice beer garden. Friendly staff

A few underage drinkers but as long as the landlord is making his money he isn 't worried. Seems to be the in place to score and use whatever substances you want to aswell

Dreadful, watered down OJ, cider undrinkable, warm bottles. RIP off price. Dirty ashtrays everywhere. I rarely review unless it's extremely good or bad... avoid it's a terrible pub.

Great place to sit with the dog while mrs goes shopping always a good selection of ciders to sample. Must be good place, many local bar flies frequent the place all seem to own the place

Had lunch on 27th Dec. Waited 40 mins for an overpriced load of rubbish. Cold plates, cindered burger, tiny portion of three bean chilli. Tired and worn out place and that’s not just the decor.

Myself and my folks have been here lots and have never been disappointed! Lovely food and even the smaller dishes are huge!! The staff are friendly and make you feel like a regular in the way you feel at home!!

The White Swan is a pub. Nothing really stands out, positively or negatively. They do serve some good beers at The White Swan. Only downside is the huge flashing slot machine that has a very prominent place in the pub.

Went here with my partner for lunch, the service was good and when ordering I was greeted and spoken to very well. My partner and I both agreed the food was very good. The White Swan is a very traditional pub offering a great selection of local drinks and the food is lovely.

I asked for the ploughman’s salad from the lunch menu in the evening. The chef was happy to oblige and I have to say it was delicious!! Thank you x we will definitely be back next time we are in Swanage. Highly recommend this pub and they have good bands on too. Bar staff are really friendly and drinks prices are average.
