"We went as there was a restaurant week type offer. 2 courses for £10 3 for £15 The food is usually really lovely here so we were expecting similar but maybe smaller portions. The menu was limited which was fine but the standard of food was not great. Starters were ok but very small. My main course was fish goujons which were very greasy served with oven chips. My partners linguine was in a sauce that was overly salted it was actually inedible. The dish was remade which was less salty but wasn't amazing. Overall very disappointing. I feel the restaurant could have showcased their usual standard of food with smaller portions for the offer price. If this was my first time going there I wouldn't return based on what we had."

greeted and showed that the table waiter was friendly and gave us time to see the menu Sunday evening meal beef for me and sweet roast for my vegetarian friends the meals were delicious sweet roasts looked homemade and selection of veg in separate keepers all piping hot

Disappointing meals. The belly pork starter consisted of mainly carrot with 5 tiny scraps of fatty bacon you would normally trim off. The chicken pasta main had some nice small pieces of chicken and huge bowl of bland stodgy pasta, enough for about 4 people. The crumpet starter and fish gujon main were fine. We appreciate it was restaraunt week but to me that should not mean the meal quality or size should suffer. Something should not be sold as a belly pork starter if the main component is carrot like wise with the chicken pasta, should have been pasta with added chicken.
