Good old fashioned pub grub, you won't go hungry. Had a really good evening at the bingo night, good prizes and a money game, plus you can have a meal. They also host quiz night's for local charities, with a sausage and chips supper. View menu

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. The food is consistently served hot and is well-prepared. The average price per person ranges from £10 to £20. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 and the service a 4.

I visited for the Sunday carvery and found the staff to be polite and friendly. The prices were reasonable, and I really enjoyed the food, especially the delightful dessert. The ambiance feels a bit dated, but that wouldn’t deter me from returning. I'd definitely go back again.

Recently move to the area and have used the Woolpack Inn a couple of times, staff are very friendly and it has a comfortable feel to the pub, the food is good, plentiful and is decently priced it also has plenty of parking, I would definitely recommend it and we will be returning again. View menu

What a fantastic discovery! I recently relocated from Essex, where most pubs tend to cater either to a younger crowd or sports fans. The staff here are incredibly friendly, and they offer a nice selection of beers. The food is excellent with generous portions. As soon as we walk in, our drinks are already being poured. This is a wonderful example of a classic country pub. Cheers to the staff!

My local pub is usually quite quiet when we visit, though the parking lot is often full. It's a simple place that's wheelchair accessible. I can't recall the last time the somewhat limited menu changed; it could really use some burgers. I ordered the steak and ale pie with chips and peas, which was tasty, while my friend had the vegetarian lasagna, which she enjoyed. For dessert, we had a crumble with custard that was very hot.

I recently attended a buffet for a wake that catered to 50 people, featuring a delightful assortment of sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls, and eight different types of cake. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this pub as a fantastic venue for any event that requires catering. The staff was very accommodating, and you could enjoy as much tea and coffee as you liked. The bar was also open, allowing for a tab to be set up, so one person could settle the drink bill at the end. This pub should definitely promote its back room as a great event space.
