Great pub, friendly, good atmosphere, lovely food and plenty of it worth buying a property in Kingsdown just to be near the pub!!

Lovely staff, service was impeccable. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Waiting staff were excellent and efficient and food was good too.

had a delicious lunch here yesterday, eat nicely cooked and presented. I had the bier broken cable and was the best I had! my friend had the psychic she loved! nice friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Fantastic little find. Great food nice beers and a generous wine selection. The prawns in garlic and lime chilli were to die for. Soo good went back the next day for few Thatchers in the sun. If your in the vicinity pop in

We’ve been going here off and on for years. Always a beautiful spot with nice staff and very average food. Todays fish and chips Ea the best thing I’ve ever eaten here. We’ll be coming here a lot more as we’re about to move to Deal. Reading these reviews I can understand that a lot of people don’t like the changes. But from my experience today, it’s good and will hopefully go from strength to strength in the coming months.

Have lived in Deal many many years the Zetland up until this last year used to produce good quality meals . Now it has gone down hill drastically. Cheap ingredients fast food type with restaurant prices in a pub . Too much fish on the menu they used to cater for everyone. A lot of local people support this place during the quieter seasons but if they want to continue they need to sort their menu and standard of food out . We’ve been 3 times since the new proprietor has taken over and won’t be returning or recommend until their reviews improve Sorry . The positive points are the friendly staff, the cleanliness and location next to the Beach beverages good and averagely priced.

this is a hidden shade for me .. I am am amazed that I never knew of it. I had ribeye tonight and I have to say what I had eaten. this food is cooked with love and passion, and the quality of eating was all in taste. what more can they want if it is all cook to excellent. now for the atmosphere, it was quiz at night and our table was in the middle and we were the only ones who did not in quiz and I loved it. we were greeted when we lived there. this is a pub that offers real locals the same hospitality as if they were a local. the natives made them local and welcome. there are not many pubs like this . the personal .. brilliant. can refer to all wavelengths and ages I appreciate. this pub is...
