"Went on a Saturday night with friends. The place was rather full, but we managed to find decent seating. Finding someone to attend us was a bit harder, but giving the weekend, we persevered. Friends ordered two burgers with fries, i ordered a stone grill...option with beef and shrimp and a side of potato wedges and dip. First came the burgers, two dusty patties and four soggy buns. The fries were stone cold. When we told a waiter, he commented that we had already eaten some fries (one each) and could therefore not return them. How unhelpfully illogical. My some grill experience euros for a poor cut steak and shrimps) was also a disappointment. The smell of the sizzling food was amazing, but the taste was hindered by the sub-standard quality of the ingredients. My order also came with no side dish. When solicited, the staff fiat insisted they had taken it, then, after three separate complaints, eventually produced the potato wedges and dip. By that time, or meal was long forgotten and we were washing everything down with a round of cocktails. So too little, too late. Cocktails were OK, with no art nor craft, but at least were drinkable. All in all, it's only redeeming qualities are the central location, the beer (but this is Germany after all) and the large outside seating area. Everything else is overpriced both in terms of service and in terms of quality. Won't visit again."

Bochum is a vibrant city in Germany's Ruhr area, known for its rich industrial history and cultural venues. A typical dish is the hearty "Currywurst," a spiced sausage in curry sauce.
