as always so inviting. they have a wonderful list of tempting snacks and main attractions to choose from. so happy to have this restaurant in lyme

we visited a group of six yesterday. we all enjoyed the buffet menu, a main and a choice of 3 pages. beautiful small gemstone amd dig also friendly.

Tierra is friendly and cute. The food was good and mostly vegan. But it is closing in March 2019 to refurbish itself as a buffet style cafe so this review may not be so relevant. But on the basis of our experience today I’d say Lyme Regis is very lucky to have such a cafe.

We had a delicious vegan lunch here made of five different kind of tapas small plates. There was sweet potato, falafel, avocado toast, olives and humous and lots of salad with different dressings. There was plenty more on the lunch menu and the food had the scrummy properly homemade fresh quality. The owner sources locally and seasonally too. Nice contemporary but relaxed feel about this restaurant. Recommended. Will come back one day to try the evening menu!

unbelievable. clean wood floors and tables, cozy atmosphere. very helpful staff. the menu includes fresh, local veg with different twists: middle eastern indian and italian. gorgeous tagine! and the guinness cake and cocosnuss and mango cake are enough to ruin the diet and finish excellent coffee (including decaf). that was also a reasonable price. only the trick after a cold and windy fossil hunting trip to the beach in December, with outside seats being held for the summer!

the caffe is located in a quiet street near the main street. it has a good choice of vegan options, including some mouthwater desserts. I enjoyed my lunch, but the salate selection and quality could be improved. they also need to find a more hygienic way to show unpacked foods that are currently kept up at the tail height next to the waiting zone. the staff was nice, there were no loud background music and the toilets were clean. a good selection of packaged shop articles were also sold. would definitely go back if in the opposite.

If you're within driving distance of Lyme Regis, and you fancy a bit of reasonably-priced posh nosh, find your way to Tierra Kitchen on Coombe Street and enjoy this vegetarian vegan gem. With a frequently changing menu, two-thirds of all the dishes on offer are usually vegan. No need to ask about the wine it's vegan too. The evening menu is fixed-price two or three courses, but at lunch time you can mix it up with a variety of smaller dishes. With only 26 covers (plus a few outside) you may need to book, but believe me you won't regret it.

We had the most incredible meal here. Everything from the home baked bread and olives through to pudding. I literally cannot stop thinking about the pumpkin gratinee. Such an unassuming little place. The chef let us try some black reddish that they’d just got in. And the staff were more than happy to recommend other places we should try for vegan food in the area. Tierra is a gem. It’s so good to go out for a vegan meal where it’s so delicious you don’t come away feeling you could have made a better meal at home! Wish we had time to go back.

I loved Tierra Kitchen from the minute I walked through the door....plenty vegan options and vegan wines to choose from. Had beetroot carpaccio with potato salad to start and my husband had sweet potato, chickpea and quinoa cakes to start. Mains were red pepper roulade with rocket pesto roast cauliflower and spring warm salad. Desserts were chocolate and raspberry delice queen of puddings. The food was fantastic, fine dining vegan food, well cooked and beautifully presented...the best vegan meal I have eaten in a long while. Would love to return when next in Lyme Regis.
