We were asked to move tables. Then had no service at all! I had to get up from the table over 3 times to get service.

love toad in the hole because it serves traditional old school British food without much ado. it is cheap and transports it to another time. love it. View menu

meat: could be better. I asked for my burger to be cooked rarely, but the waitress came back to tell me that they only cook the meat on a way through. '

Pub foods are secret, comfort food is not gourmet, but delicious. it is hard to decide which pub to choose, as there are thousands in london. many seem to be in possession or have the sane costa menu. I guess franchising is living in london. Anyway, it was very good to eat and the experience was great. worth a visit!

I was invited by our team before site to welcome us on the first day for lunch. I was at this place to be there that I enjoyed her company. had a suppe to begin and followed by tripeldeck club sandwich. both taste good, but could have been better. I don't know about that ****. the service was a little slow that I felt and the ambiente is good. overall, good space, but not great! my review to them as follows ambiance food service View menu

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
