Carvery area needed a wipe down, sauces run out , staff nice enough , tables abit cramped together ,food was nice .

Long wait for carvery,only two meats on offer ,serving counter needed a good wipe over ,food was nice waitress too busy to check everything ok with food no gravy, cranberry, don’t go at busy times

Carvery was nice. The meats were very good, the vegetables were good too but not the full selection that is usually available! Service was good and the staff were very polite. Not excellent, but good all round. Will definitely visit again!

Good service from Kristina our waitress. When i made the reservation, didn't realise there was a £5 special offer. The place was packed! However, was impressed that there were extra staff serving food and the wait wasn't longer then unusual. View menu

Waited ages for someone to show us to a table barmaid excessively abrupt abd food was awful gammon meat, yorkshire pudding potatoes extremely tough veg cold but hey gravy was fine! Our server was totally indifferent so overall very disappointing

Came here yesterday with family and friends. Just recently refurbished, the Toby Carvery was warm and welcoming and the decor was lovely. It was full when we arrived but we were seated in an area by the bar which was nice. The staff here are so nice and nothing is too much trouble. The food too delicious. We had a lovely time. Will definitely be coming back.

Used to enjoy visiting this restaurant but not any more. Booked a table and had to wait to be shown to it after an eternity. No IPA despite it being on the bar, 'we dont have that down here '. Had an almost passable starter then went for the carvery. Had the meats I wanted then the veg, including the dried peas and on to the gravy. No 'famous ' gravy. By the time that had been replenished the food was cold. Never again. The place has been 'upgraded ' but it does not work View menu
