Great meal, first time at this one. Clean, tidy, staff on the ball, as to say.

Busy Toby Cavery, popped in on a Wednesday night was seated right away despite how busy it was. Standard Toby Carvery meal.

The staff at this restaurant are 100% efficient and the food, particularly the carvery, is excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this place.

Food could have been a bit hotter. The food nice and reasonable price. Could do with more gluten free options for me. Got vegan on menu but not GF find it hard what to eat. Need to update your menus with more GF options as there are more people GF. View menu

First time visit, will not be the last. I took my dad for lunch and it was superb. All the food was freshly cooked so tasty. The staff were very quick and obliging. We had two starters soup and prawn cocktail, two king size carvery, dad had crumble to follow plus hot and cold drinks. Special thank you to the lady chef who went out of her way to do some plain cauliflower for me, I was really touched by that gesture. Thank you.

Have had a great visit. Food was served fresh as we arrived. Hot veggies cool drinks. Prices are still reasonable. If you disagree have a word with yourself. Its a chain. They make a profit what do you expect. If you want gourmet food go to restaurant with ‘ambience’. If you want silver service go somewhere that does not employ Students working hard to cover fees. If you want a candlelit soirée forget it. Its a TOBY. Have a shake n jog on.

Upon ordering drinks and sitting down, we discovered that the cutlery on our table was filthy, with remnants of food still stuck to all four sets. This was completely unacceptable and outweighed any expectations of dishwashing detergent smears. Additionally, the cutlery had been covered by menus, which seemed unhygienic unless they had been thoroughly cleaned beforehand. Due to the lack of hygiene and poor first impression, we decided to leave without eating. We traveled back to Dronfield, nearly 30 miles away, to dine at a more satisfactory establishment.
