"A delightful discovery! I've passed by this place numerous times, dismissing it as just another typical fast-food pizza joint nearby. I was completely mistaken! Upon noticing the coffee machine and a selection of desserts, I realized this could be a genuine Italian restaurant—and it truly is. The pizza is authentically made, the coffee is excellent, and the desserts are delicious (some of which have Middle Eastern roots, as the owner has North African heritage but spent over 20 years in Italy). The highlight? Everything is freshly made and utterly delicious! He proudly shared that he prepares his dough from scratch, makes a hand-crafted garlic sauce with fresh garlic, and offers homemade rice pudding (which is amazing with pistachio sauce) and tiramisu. This is definitely not your average fast-food pizza place, even though the prices suggest otherwise. I will absolutely return and highly recommend it. Additionally, he offers gluten-free and vegan options, even if they’re not on the current menu. The best Italian pizza in Cardiff! I visited Tomi Pizza two days ago and tried their wonderful pizza. I stumbled upon this small shop and wanted to give their pizza a shot, and it turned out to be amazing—definitely reminiscent of Neapolitan pizza. I also ordered the mixed seafood pasta, which was absolutely delicious. You’ve got to try it! The service was excellent, and the owner was very friendly with everyone. I had the most delicious calzone and wrap in Cardiff at Tomi Pizza. The restaurant is neat and well-maintained. The homemade Egyptian rice pudding with pistachio sauce, along with the modified homemade kunefe, made our New Year's Eve truly special! The prices are also quite reasonable. It's a complete package!
