"Restaurant entirely found by chance, a Friday night after 9:15. located less than 3 minutes from the Promenade des Anglais. It is a restaurant held by a Georgian family (father, mother and two daughters) and another Georgian cook. We were together. the welcome was very warm by the boss despite the schedule. It guided us in the choice of dishes so that we can discover the essentials of Georgian cuisine. everything was delicious! and also very copied, but she warned us! special ceremony for cheese cake and lamb with tarragon so melting. she shared some of her life's adventures with so much availability and kindness. They also have a delicious lemonade and the wine was just as good. There is a screen that goes in the loop of images of beautiful Georgian landscapes, it is beautiful to look, but a little less pleasant if you wanted to spend a night in love and your half spent the meal stuck to these images that scroll behind you.! but for once it’s not to watch football! Well, frankly, it was a very good night. However, I advise you to make a reservation in advance."

A local tour guide recommended this restaurant to us. We had been eating (great) French food every day, and wanted a change. It’s small, less than 10 tables, so would suggest making a reservation. Anna the owner is a great host and speaks English well. She clearly takes pride in the restaurant and it showed. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. Definitely worth a visit for something different while in Nice. View menu

we had never tasted Georgian cuisine and had no idea what to expect. First good sign: it would seem, given the language spoken in the restaurant by some customers that there were Georgians who ate there and it is always a good pledge of authenticity and quality of the kitchen. As we knew nothing about it, we decided to ask our waitress for advice. and we can say that we were not disappointed: it was a gustative journey in unknown country with a special mention for ravioli and meat skewer to share. It's a restaurant that's worth the detour!

We had the most amazing dinner at Toné Georgien last night. The food was exceptional, particularly the chicken brochette (Qatmis Mtsvardi). It was the most succulent and delicious chicken I have ever eaten. The Georgian wine was deep and fruity. We ate like kings. The amount of food was huge, one main between two would easily be enough, but we wanted to try as much as possible, so they provided us with a takeaway bag so we can enjoy it tomorrow. We felt welcomed by the family that run it, as if we were guests in their own home, which, in a way, was true. The restaurant is so cosy, you really feel at home. Toné Georgien is a MUST for anyone wanting a very genuine and delicious evening. Highly...
