Ideal for a romantic anniversary celebration, sharing a portion of cheesy fries for two by the seaside on a rainy and blustery autumn evening.

Handy open after the pub place but awful. Cold, over priced. Ordered a battered sausage and chips....ended up with a battered saveloy and chips. Clearly trying to palm off old day stock before close. 8.50 straight in the bin as much safer not to eat it or argue

visited it as it look traditional and is in a prominent place, looked clean and friendly staff, however both the fish and the chips where so bland i couldn’t tell what I was even eating, this wouldn’t have been so bad if it wasn’t so ridiculously expensive , 45 pounds for 3 fish and chips and peas no drinks !

Ordered Fish Chips decided to sit in.. The food was ok the fish was of decent size but looking at the menu when I sat down was only expecting to pay the £8.99 I saw as I had a drink with me they saw that.. (I was only person in there) Went to pay they charged me £14 for some reason This Tripadvisor is here for genuine reviews I can only be honest to future people visiting here- BEWARE of what they charge you..

My partner and sister visited Brighton to explore the lanes. We were in need of a quick meal, so we decided to try the "Fish Chip" café. The staff was very friendly, and we were seated at a clean table in the café. I ordered battered sausage and chips, while the girls ordered fishcakes and chips. We also enjoyed delicious cups of tea, which we ended up ordering more of. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service at this café. View menu

Had chips from here on previous visits to Brighton and I always enjoyed them. This time was a whole new experience. Got sausage and chips to eat as we walked along the seafront. Sausage was edible, a bit cheap and greasy but the chips were the star of the show! Absolutely disgusting !I have never spat chips out of my mouth before but I really couldn't swallow them. They were cold and the oil tested like it hadn't been changed since last summer. I really thought I was going to be sick.

I only ended up at this restaurant because the other top-rated chip shops were closed. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience. The fish and chips we ordered weren't even properly cooked - they seemed to have just been pulled out of a strainer. They were cold and mostly consisted of tiny, crunchy chips. The fish still had its skin on and was full of bones. Overall, it was not worth the money we paid. We ended up throwing most of it away in the bin. If the seagulls want it, they are welcome to it.

Without a doubt, the worst fish chips of my entire life. The fish was undercooked, full of bones and was not fresh. The chips tasted rancid, like the potatoes had long passed their expiration date. Totally unacceptable for any establishment, let alone a place that charges £12.50 for fish chips. Half of our group of friends (all ate the fish chips) were sick with stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhoea within just a few hours. Extremely embarrassing for guests who came from abroad to experience the British seaside. In addition, their payment machine was broken no matter how many cards we tried, it refused to accept them, yet apparently accepted other customer 's cards, which seemed suspicious.... View menu
