"we went for a Sunday roast and the experience was just great. my own and my partner both went for the black bell option. the portion size was good and the accompanied veg was very nice. the only disappointment that was so hard was impossible to eat. I went for brownie with celestial sorbet, the honest is the best dessert I have eaten everywhere. I am not a big fan of the pub itself, but in any case to eat again."

The pub is also bicycle-friendly; you can keep your bike right next to your table in the garden, even though it's not widely advertised. This place gets quite busy, especially on Sunday afternoons, so it's best to arrive early.

Friendly and efficient service. Clean bar restaurant and facilities. Large well maintained and decorated outside garden area. The food vegetarian roast was very good and the vegetables very fresh as was my friends chicken roast. The only thing that was not so good was how many things werent available on the menu. We will definitely be going back.
