"This restaurant offers high-quality food at affordable prices. It is hands-down the best Italian cuisine I have ever had in the UK. The mozzarella focaccia is a must-try, and be sure to end your meal with the strawberry cheesecake. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Dining in for dinner is recommended. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. I would rate the food and service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5."

"Went in one evening and was told the restaraunt was fully booked, even though there were clearly places to sit at the bar, and no inclination on wait times, when we could come back, or if we would like to book a reservation. We asked if we could book for the next day and made a reservation for the upstairs dining room. Upon arrival the following day we were given a table on the ground floor (not upstairs as originally reserved) and were met with terrible service. We had to repeat the drink choices four or five times as the gentleman serving us did not understand the menu, we eventually had to point it out on the menu card while he copied it to his notepad. I ordered a classic beef burger with bacon added on which was extremely overcooked, unseasoned, and without bacon. I could not finish the burger and left promptly."

"Both the hotel and the restaurant I think are closed as such, although they belong to the same owners as the nearby Kirkwall Hotel, who use it as an extension of it. We booked at the Kirkwall Hotel, but being 5 they took us here that they said we could be together. We were the only ones in the whole building. No guests, no employees. It wasn't good for him, because it seemed that we were punished for being a large family. The room did not meet the conditions that we needed and suffered several percances and even cold at the beginning. Until I gave the way to turn on the radiators. I didn't have any windows either, just some little Velux on the roof. Breakfast we had to go to the Kirkwall Hotel I would dare to think that this place is reforming it little by little, when they have funds or the opportunity and from time to time, if necessary, they use it. "This restaurant is always bustling, and for good reason! The service is both friendly and efficient, making for a really enjoyable dining experience. My partner tried the creamy mushroom soup and declared it excellent. He also had the Monte Cristo, which features freshly toasted bread with honey-roasted shredded ham and Orkney cheese—definitely something I was envious of, but being lactose intolerant, I had to pass! I opted for the avocado toast, which was delightful, and I highly recommend the extra garlic mushrooms—absolutely amazing! Plus, they offered milk alternatives for those of us with dietary restrictions. Just a heads up: I found allergen information on an old Facebook post since it’s not listed on the menus."

"we called dil se after he recommended it here. we went around 4 o'clock to check the restaurant, could take up the 2 food allergies in our group (därmlich, und zwiebeln) and were said that this would be in order, everything would be cooked to order and ask for them could be taken up. Unfortunately, when we came back later, we were told that they could not accept an application for non-Dairy dishes, like all the food in a mixture of ghee, butter and oil! insisted that we were told that this was proper, they finally agreed to cook my food in clear oil, but it took a lot of convincing. Unfortunately, the desire for no wobble, which was apparently possible, was completely ignored by the kitchen. in the payment of the bill (which did not contain any shortcuts as it would have, given the bad service) I was specifically reported out and called by the waiter hard. I've never been treated so badly by a restaurant. I often eat Indian food, both at home and in restaurants around the country, and it is in the simple way to cook a food in oil (all I wanted was a kicherbse curry and simple rice I will never go back to dil se, and I would avoid anyone with allergy or in. it is not suitable for vegans at all. in general, the food was bland, the ingredients were not fresh and the food was not spicy at all."
