"Truva, located in Towcester, has only been open for a few weeks and I had high expectations after reading the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately, I left feeling a bit let down. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I couldn't fault them. The courtyard location and the ambience and decor inside the restaurant were also great. However, I found the food to be disappointing. My wife and I started with the hot mezze which was uninspiring and a small portion for two people. The kebabs we ordered were very chewy and dry. Many British tourists have experienced authentic Turkish cuisine while on holiday in Turkey, but the food at Truva did not feel very authentic. The Turkish food at the nearby Olive Garden, just 500m away, is generally much better. I was genuinely disappointed as I was hoping for this new restaurant to be good. Hopefully, they can improve the food as everything else about the restaurant was very good."

I had previously requested a quote table and the lovely gentleman who greeted us and showed us to the table, apologised that the people on the table next to us weâre not so quite and offered another table if we wished. The service was excellent. The best sirloin I have had in a long while. Can not fault this restaurant at all!!
