I would go back there if nothing else is around, but not necessarily serious about it. good, but not excellent

A large restaurant with a vibrant and lively atmosphere serving delicious food and attractive cocktails. The service from Lucy and her colleague was warm and friendly.

Great service getting quite popular (took a while to book a reservation, but just shows how good it is)! The food portions were huge especially for the price you pay (cheap as chips) the rums were quite good for aged rums. Piña colada was stronger then I'm used to!

We had an amazing meal at this restaurant. The prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We celebrated my son's 5-month birthday there, and the waiter was so cool with him, playing and paying attention to make the experience special. I'm upset that I didn't remember his name to give him credit, but it was a nice experience at Turtle Bay. I will definitely be returning. Love and gratitude.

Great place to have a meal. Heard of it for the first time 2 weeks ago and visited today. I enjoyed my meal of crispy chicken with coconut rice and beans. I also liked the 2 for 1 happy drinks. The waiters were nice. I loved the ambience. The restaurant is located in the town centre at the traffic lights so no free parking nearby. Great for public transport but if you are driving, there is no free parking but there is paid parking like 4 minutes away in the mall. Didn't use the toilet so I can't comment buy good restaurant overall. View menu

I enjoyed my visit. The staff are really friendly and tentative. I like turtle bay more so for their cocktails. The food is ok but I wouldn’t say it’s because of its authentic taste. I ordered curried goat and it tasted like curried goat but just not in a Caribbean way at all. I also ordered Mac and cheese bites which were YUMMY ! I love friend Mac and cheese balls so they were always going to get brownie points for that, the sauce they added was also a nice touch. Good plantain portion and of course plantain being plantain … it was nice and sweet. The only thing I would say is that it was warm and not piping hot when it came to the table… everyone one knows you have to serve plantain hot ho...

We were originally planning to go somewhere else near Walthamstow, but Turtle Bay caught our attention on the way to our destination, and we were glad we stopped in. I am a stickler for restaurants with great interior design, and Turtle Bay excels in this area. Now on to the most important aspects: the food quality and price - in my opinion, they excel in both categories. The lunch menus offer two courses for £13 and three courses for £15, making it a perfect option for a budget-friendly lunch. Additionally, the drinks and other dishes are reasonably priced. We ordered the Boxing Garnel and Curry Garn from the a la carte menu, and Jerk Box Wing and Brown Chicken Stew from the set lunch menu....

Hmmmm,, really really nice area with positive vibes all night long. I loved the way the restaurant was presented and loved the warm Caribbean theme. I arrived just after sunset and we booked the seats outside.. The breeze the music the lights.. Was just too much! (That side was amazing nd quiet the experience) now, however, I didn 't like the food. Like, it weren 't intense? Do I make sense? I mean Caribbean,, when I think Caribbean I expect Caribbean.. The vibes yes they delivered but as for food and quality it was mediocre. Poor waiters I felt they were tortured by the customers they weren 't as confident and didn 't know the menu that well..
