"More than a bar, the upper side is a friendly and iconic gathering place when studying at the tobacco factory campus. Prices are suitable for students but it is not as much as the quality of the pastry drinks. a large selection of beer and cocktails is available to us for reasonable prices in comparison with what can be found in some OL bars. The staff is very pleasant and dynamic, they manage the peak hours thanks to their dynamism and organization!Small plus: the bar organizes very often seasonal events or concerts, making the bar live and giving the desire to come enjoy the different atmospheres offered over the year."

A really nice student bar, both by staff and by food and choice of beers, at a very attractive price! The atmosphere is at the rendezvous both inside and outside.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
