We had an excellent meal with a great atmosphere and attentive service. My husband even said it was the best belly pork he's ever had. We definitely plan on returning with friends in the future.

Me my partner went for afternoon Tea. Excellent service food. Would recommend and book again. I’ve tried many places for afternoon tea, this was easily one of the best. Lovely tea room, it was too busy which meant a nice relaxed atmosphere overlooking the golf course. Perfect.

The service was terrible, after booking in advance a table for 16 people, we were served about 3 hours later as nobody attended our table to take orders; when tried to complain, the manageress (Kathryn was not helpful in anyway, on the contrary, she made the situation worse by not being sympathetic to our request (to eat!! We visited the Grill on a Thursday evening for dinner with our young son and again for breakfast the following morning. The menu choices were varied and staff went over and above to accommodate our needs. We felt at ease eating with our toddler and enjoyed a really relaxing meal. We would definitely recommend and will return again.

The grill was booked same time as the booking of the rooms a very nice large room. Excellent way to services and good choices on the menu although it was a meal deal the pricing wasn’t too expensive. The quality of the food was the very high standard and I would certainly return again with no hesitation also the breakfast in the morning was up to a good standard with plenty of choices

Dinner bed and breakfast gift. Room great, although some noisy residents, nit too frequently or too late though. Evening meal.. meh, nothing special. Service below par. Breakfast OK but toaster not working and didn't offer to bring any. Coffee had sat there too long and was stewed and cold. Just customers in this restaurant I'm afraid, not guests. My companion and I had a delightful time at our afternoon tea in the lovely conservatory with a view of the golf course. The food was all homemade and presented beautifully. The young front of house servers were well-trained, attentive, and very pleasant, offering refills of tea and coffee. I highly recommend the afternoon tea, as it is excellent value and they also catered to my vegetarian wife. This resort excels in all areas we have experienced, from weddings to golf courses.

Having attended the Gin making experience which was excellent) we booked a meal at the restaurant. Staff in the hotel were extremely helpful and courteous however the restaurant was like a transport cafe. The risotto was more like a soup noisy, the waiters talked over us at the table, my friend was almost knocked off her chair by a waiter and we were told to check our bill which a bottle of wine had been added! It was taken off the bill but the whole experience was very disappointing. I contacted the manager twice to describe the evening, but had no response. The restaurant really let down the beautiful hotel and their staff.

We had a reservation for six pm at this restaurant. As we walked from reception to the bar and restaurant, the corridor gave off a hospital-like vibe and lacked luxury. However, we were pleased to find that the bar and restaurant were very nice. A polite and friendly young man greeted us and showed us to our table. The service was efficient and the waitress was friendly and professional. The starters took a while to arrive, with my fish cake being beautifully presented and delicious, while my wife's ox tail balls were a bit overdone and lacking in flavor.
