"My wife and I have visited Vale several times. This unpretentious restaurant is tucked away in the residential area of Playa de San Juan. At the weekend be well advised to book a table there as it is usually crowded, especially in the summer. Also be prepared for a long wait. Expect to spend at least two hours over lunch. However, the wait is worth it as the typical Spanish family atmosphere is entertaining and the food is superb. The establishment specialises in rices. We have tried the rabbit and snails one last time. The Banda rice is one of the best I have ever had! The service is efficient and friendly and as you wait you can try the limited wine list and try some other starters."

We all had pizza and salad for our lunch, the pizzas were really nice, very thin and lots of topping. This restaurant is in a great position, just off the beach. Good quick service. Would return.

Absolutely delicious. They have great rices and paellas, all cooked to order on site. The fish and seafood are very fresh. The only thing is that finding the restaurante can be a bit hard, it's hidden behind others, but just ask around. View menu

Buen arroz, pero servicio pésimo. Más de 20 min para atendernos en la mesa, problemas con lo que pedíamos porque tardaría mucho o no tenían, se olvidan de los entrantes, total una hora hasta que empezamos a comer. Muchas excusas y ninguna disculpa, no volveremos.

Everything pleased us, starting with the kindness and sympathy of the person who attended us and ending with the sorbry of the cava to the lemon, prepared with mime, big. along the way, a large salad, simple but abundant and exquisite, and a rice to the band, at its point and with all its flavor.
