"We were trying to find a diesel station and wanted to park for a bit. We were heading to Cadiz, Spain and pulled off onto a ramp that appeared to be some sort of truck stop. It was an 'everything ' stop all sorts of people out and it was a Sunday! Heaps of people heading into an outdoor/indoor cafe. We entered. Food looked really good homemade/regional. We looked at the time 2:15pm and we had consumed only coffee/tea. No English spoken not a worry! We asked for 2 beers and pointed to menu. We knew we ordered chicken, but...OH, MY Goodness...how could ordinary chicken be this fantastic??? Terrifically tender as if it had been slow cooking since 5:00am in broth, onions, garlic. Served with fries; we did not touch. I looked at my husband and said, 'THIS may be the BEST chicken I have ever eaten. ' He replied, 'I was just thinking that! ' 'YAY! ' What a treat. You do have to take your beverages to table of your choice and go retrieve your meals and take to table, also. Not a problem. Wish they had an additional server to pick up/clear tables on outside. Dog friendly."

Horrible experience. No one speaks English and they don't even try to understand. They realize that the person is not understanding and still don't make the effort to try to explain. When asked if they spoke English, they just presented a menu with few (and very bad options. Lazy food, without any presentation. The waitress tried to compensate with sympathy but it was still not a good experience. Simple but tasty desserts. Total bill for (not so good! food: 53€

No llegamos comer. CONFIRMING THE KITCHEN WAS STILL OPEN, AS WE HAD ARRIVED LATE FOR LUNCH (they are open all day). THE RUSH HOUR WAS OVER AND ONLY A FEW CLIENTS AND MANY WAITERS REMAINED. WE DIDN´T GET TO EAT. IT WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH THAT A WAITER QUITE LI...

"for us a classic on the return home, when we travel from the airport of malaga to caulk, on the road of the neighborhoods (as is known) we always stop in this area of service, called and known as the palm tree that officially belongs to the village of alcalá de los gazules. formerly a sale of inn, but today is a famous restaurant in the province with quite good prices. the entrance to the building, with small airs cortijo shows us a whole collection of taurina and hunting, in the area of the bar, where there is a small dining room next to a local crafts shop and alfredo landa films, another classic of these sales. However, it is when we go to the main dining room when it is obvious that the speciality is meat, either retinue or other species, such as deer (we are in a populated area of hunting elbows). effective, friendly and diligent service. two kitchens, the traditional pots and pots and coal and wood where we make the meat that serves us in clay dishes, a real wonder. large selection of local wines and other typical regions such as rioja, or the owner's berth. and typical desserts of these corners: natillas, rice with milk, bacon of the sky and other delights of my land. At present, a point of reference in the area to taste the Andalusian cuisine of that particular area that is established between the mountain range and the strait of gibraltar, where the traditional fish of caulk gives rise to the local meats ... nothing else to think about it, makes me the oral water. My grandfather taught me that when you don't know where to eat where you see many truckers, as this indicates to you the quality food and reasonable prices. with this logic we arrived many years ago for the first time to this sale now promoted to restaurant."
