Venus Foods - Menu

Saw some posts on Instagram. Went to look round the supermarket and stopped for food next door. Delicious, large portions, tasty food, fresh salad and golden pide. Left super full and happy. Planning out next visit!

All I can say about this place is the food is absolutely incredible. I had the mixed Kebab and the chicken and lamb were perfectly cooked and juicy. If you are in Holbeck and feeling hungry please go and have a gastronomical experience.

Still can’t believe there is a Turkish place like this in Leeds! While it’s fairly simple and can be classed as fast food, it tastes delightful the kebabs are excellent, the bread is delicious and the sides too! I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes! View menu

The food at this restaurant is of really good quality and there is a surprisingly good supermarket next door. There are plenty of options to choose from on the menu and the supermarket has a massive selection of drinks. The only downside is that the staff could be a bit friendlier. I will definitely return again.

Previously rated as 3 star due to running out early, but now can see the reason. Food is always fresh that day so kebab hench why so tasty. Leaving out over night will spoil the experience. If you don,t want to be disappointed like you was then give yourself more time or try one of the other tasty items. My only choice now for Kebabs in South Leeds.

The food at this restaurant is excellent. Everything we tried was fantastic. However, there is one lady who serves us that is consistently unpleasant. Whenever we come in, she makes us feel unwelcome. While we don't expect fake smiles, basic manners and good customer service could go a long way in making customers feel comfortable and wanting to return. The other staff members are great though! I chose this restaurant based on its affordability and reviews, but I was deeply disappointed with my experience. Upon arriving, I noticed that it was a typical kebab shop with multiple kitchen staff talking among themselves and a rude person taking orders at the front counter. Despite classifying themselves as a restaurant, there was no table service and the staff lacked basic manners. There were no menus on the tables, which pressured me to quickly order a mixed kebab for £14.50 and an Esme sauce for £5.90. Unfortunately, the Esme came wrapped in clingfilm with bread, and the kebab was served on a tiny plate with undercooked chicken and tough lamb shish. I was too scared to complain about...

Last night for a quick bite we went to Venus, we go to venus probably once a fortnight in the summer as it represents excellent value. The last two visits have been a little less comfortable probably down to the timing as we do arrive toward the end of service but last night we were made to feel very unwelcome and that it was a problem us even being there. We were quite late on (coming upto 8 o'clock and if you know Venus you know your choice is restricted as they sell out of popular items, this is fine with us as there is always something good.
