"I am trying to justify giving this place 3 stars, but in fairness to those curious to do their research, our experience was below 3, maybe a 2.5. Could be that we ordered the most unpopular items, because everyone else was ordering the steak and...fries. Other than the bone marrow, as starter, which was delicious, everything else was disappointing. My wife had the ceviche -was bland, looked and tasted like it was fresh out of a can with no effort to trick the taste buds (a slice of lemon would 've gone a long way). I ordered the lamb. This dish was a huge pile of chewy, uncooked, cubes of lamb, served cold, on a bed of peas and carrots, as if quantity was the measure for quality here.. I tried, but had no success in getting the server 's attention to have it heated up. I 'll be back one minute was more like one hour, at which point, forget it. I ate the vegetables and returned the inedible chunks of meat. We had the apple tart for desert. Everywhere else we had these warm, but these were the supermarket frozen tarts served cold."

my order, filet mignon coquillette with risotto was disappointing, not what I expected. Moreover, it was 't very good: macaroni noodles with small slices of roasted pork and chorizo, crushed in a sosty similar to a thousand island dressing. another party had the flat plate that was a bit better. slow service at a busy night. wein was good and cost-effective.

We went for mother’s day and my mom tried to order filet mignon and risotto. Got pork fillet and macaroni cheese. My steak was tough, they had to remake my cousin’s burger because they undercooked it and put unwanted extras on it. Didn’t even...remember to bring my stepfather his food. What a joke. If you come here, READ AND TRANSLATE EVERYTHING WORD FOR WORD. Or, better yet, just don’t come here.

After walking for almost an hour in search of a restaurant we came across Les Fils a Maman. I am going to be honest, we stayed because they had a menu in English. We are glad we did. The food was excellent as we as...the service. My husband is the only one that spoke French. Our server very friendly, patient and helpful. We had the charcuterie board, Babybell cheese croquettes, goat cheese nems, breaded pork tenderloin, chicken cordon blue and the mega cheeseburger. All delicious. For dessert we had the crumble bananas Nutella. You can’t go wrong with Nutella. View menu

because of the difficulties of finding in this difficult pedestrian zone of the old montpellier, we hardly switched on before the kitchen closed for the afternoon. at this time, only one of the young men of the mama was to manned the small (c. 14-table) room, and he was first occupied with abandoned diners. it also means that the kitchen was either out, or had no time to prepare, certain things that we were interested in, like the tasty appetizer. but the two mac and cheese dishes and the steak and the fries with which we ended were nicely prepared and delicious. thema is comfort food, and there is nothing terrible imagination here, but the attention to ingredients ' fresh is worthy of a sta...

we saw great reviews for this restaurant online and found it one night on our travel. So we booked for the next night for four, outside. we were excited. when we arrived in the following night, there was no record of our booking, there was one. table, but inside. we did it because the reviews were so good. no menu has been brought to us for a long time (we had 2 children offered with us and not even drinks) when the menu was brought, we stayed a long time. we ordered and it was then that the waiter informed us that some menu items were not available. (the menu is very small). so no 'signature' burger, no huh. the waiter suggested to come back on Wednesday, because after a busy weekend they h...

"Not our first visit and certainly not the last. The quality of service and food was exceptional, as always. From the mouthing (prepared especially for me by the chef Renaldo because I am a vegetarian) to the desserts everything is delicious, blend of exceptional flavors, Ronaldo certainly knows what he does. Each dish is presented exquisitely using plant-grown fillings around the restaurant. My wife started with home-made foie gras that she said delicious and that constituted a good portion. For a vegetarian, this restaurant is excellent with options on each dish that have been carefully designed by the chef and not only added afterwards, unusual for France but great to have such an excellent choice. At each visit, we note that the chef has added seasonal dishes and today has no exception. The asparagus blown was excellent with a delicious salad. My wife and father-in-law tried to blow him to the lobsters who didn't disappoint. For the sweets my companions returned to the blown Rhum and Grand Marinier that we had tasted previously while I tested a new offer of white and raspberry chocolate blown accompanied by a yusu jam, cultivated on a tree in the restaurant! It was delicious, so much so that my wife ate half of mine (but I had some of her cold blown in return). The restaurant is well presented, with the chef's wife in charge. It has a sense of design that makes it a pleasant environment to eat. Today, we had freshly cut lilies that looked simply beautiful. Finally, I couldn't finish the criticism without mentioning Jean Luc, the most excellent server that balances professionalism and friendliness and always has interesting stories to tell (in English and French, easily alternating). The blown cannot be pressed, so there can be a short waiting while they are freshly prepared, but you will not notice the time that passes with Jean Luc who provides the service. Thanks to Chief Renaldo and your team for another great experience, we'll be back."
