"I knew the restaurant from lunches, but never went for dinner. As we have booked tickets for a concert nearby, We just walked in for a quick dinner. After 6 pm you may select their roastbeef from the trolley, a discretion for 39.- chf (currently). It is served with grilled vegetables, country fries and a selection of home made sauces.I knew the quality of their roast beef from lunch, so we did not hesitate.Even if we did not eat so much meat (only 3 small servings) it was an excellent deal for a restaurant in the center of the city.Excellent service and some piano music...We will come back for sure."

We waited for 25 minutes for someone to ask us what we would like to drink on a dirty table (we needed to ask to clean it). The waiter didn’t know the wine names. But, nice atmosphere and good flammkuchen.

Located near the Paradeplatz, in the heart of the banking area of Zürich. I often choose the place for a coffee break to meet my colleagues. The restaurant has some nice table outside along Talstrasse, as well as a cozy interior with brown, leather sofas.

Enjoyed a very special evening at this restaurant - fund-raising for Zurcher Lighthouse. The staff were super-friendly (in particular the very attentive and polite manager whose name I did not get, alas) and the food was excellent with very good service and no hurry afterwards to leave. I subsequently went there for lunch and it was wonderful. View menu

Set menu is reasonable for location in city centerSalad was lettuce with some chanterelles mushrooms and 1/2 a cherry tomato - a bit bland. We had the yellow risotto with mostly octopus although waiter said mixed seafood. Not sure what else supposed to be in the risotto but was tasty nevertheless Dessert was one choice panacotta with some raspberry sauce. A bit small and not sweet.Still good value maybe if we try as other people suggest the roast beef Service was efficient

was a little bit wary of the of all you can eat offer as normally nothing is free in Zürich. However I was very pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere and ambiance made for a relaxing evening. The food was delicious, great chips and yes it truly was all you could eat!! Slices and slices of tasty succulent roast beef served with a choice of different sauces. We all left totally full and very satisfied. I can only highly recommend this restaurant not only to people visiting Zürich but also to anyone living in and around city.

"This is my fav Italian joint in Zurich. La Famiglia Tremonte is a small, family run cafe-restaurant that serves excellent and authentic Italian food at prices that are low compared to the norm in Zurich.Famiglia Tremonte is rather inconspicuously located at the corner of Zurlindenstrasse and Birmensdorferstrasse, a couple of doors away from The Desperado Mexican Restaurant. You might need to look for it a little: I lived practically next door and did not notice it for almost a year, and even then a friend had to point it out to me.The restaurant is mostly a takeout with very little seating, i.e. 7 people inside, and when the weather is goo, about 5 people outside. The ambience is basic but, like most things in Switzerland, the interiors are very clean. Staff and service are very goo. The food here is awesome! Authentic Italian fare that is probably heavily influenced by Sicilian tradition since that is where the family is from. I used to visit almost every day because the food tastes great and the prices are so low for Zurich. I have tried almost everything: several pasta dishes, polpettine, stuffed bell peppers, meatloaf, piadina, and of course, the fabulously tasty and hot chilli infused EVOO. I enjoyed every dish I ordered. Great stuff! I strongly recommend the super-hot chilli infused EVOO as a seasoning for almost all dishes, but especially the pasta dishes that come in a cream sauce. Please be careful with chilli EVOO: 0.5 tbsp. for noobs, and a max. of 2 tbsp. for those who like it hot. The chilli EVOO, when used appropriately, adds great flavour to your dish. The piadina is the best I have eaten - period. I have been all over the world, spent a lot of time in Italy and New York (: great place for Italian food lovers :), and I still think this is the best piadina ever. They also serve some nice Italian desserts -- I've tried a few but have forgotten the names. They also have a small selection of Italian ingredients for sale. I bought the pesto and was happy with it. You also get a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic Italian drinks to go with the food.Prices are relatively low by Zurich standards: I rarely ever ate for more than CHF 15, and if I skipped the drinks it was usually around CHF 10. Of course, this varies a bit according to what you order.Highly recommended. Glad I found this place. Great for office workers in the vicinity."

"My recent visit to Edi's Pizzeria in downtown Zurich was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly set the tone for the entire experience. First and foremost, I must commend the staff for their exceptional service. Every member of the team was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfection. From offering recommendations to promptly refilling drinks, their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. As a vegetarian, I'm always on the lookout for restaurants that offer delicious meat-free options, and Edi's Pizzeria exceeded my expectations. Their Veggie pizza was an absolute masterpiece, boasting a flavorful combination of fresh vegetables and savory toppings atop a perfectly crisp crust. Each bite was a culinary delight, bursting with robust flavors that left me craving more. Beyond the food and service, the ambiance of Edi's Pizzeria further elevated my dining experience. The cozy yet vibrant atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for enjoying a delicious meal with friends or family. Whether you're seeking a casual lunch spot or a cozy dinner destination, Edi's Pizzeria offers the ideal setting for any occasion. In conclusion, my visit to Edi's Pizzeria was nothing short of exceptional.
