"during our one-week stay in bad dürrheim we went twice in the whale. at the first time I decided to go to a mandelbutter with salt potatoes and salate. a very good choice! There was a delicious riesling that was perfectly tempered. So satisfied, we reserved a table for the next day. This time we were served by a man who, just like his colleague on the day before, was very careful and friendly. This time there was a clear broth with a crimson-flatter and then the associated table-spitz in a fine sauce. my companion had a wonderful salad on both days, once with goat cheese and caramelized walnuts or with fish fillets. also she was very satisfied with this. we can only recommend this!"

after a leisurely walk through the village, we got pleasure on a fine coffee with cake. unfortunately there is no cake at the weekend from 17.00 clock. we found that very bad. but otherwise a good restaurant. View menu

Gerne wieder.

we have eaten here with two people on a Monday night. smooth operation. next to the card there was a card with day offers. I took the reeschnitzel with latezli. the reeschnitzel was not a piece of panned meat, but a sliced piece of raw. in any case delicious. the berry sauce makes it complete. the late cli were inedible. looked more like gum than something you would expect from a beautiful piece of meat.

"A very beautiful, homely agriturismo that has been superbly renovated without losing the character of the house. The menu is perhaps a little one-sided yesterday very many dishes based on pumpkin or partly with pumpkin or sheep cheese. The quality of the dishes is right, well crafted, even if air is still up. The pear cream was something different and really excellent. The duck breast pink, the pumpkin gnocchi did not have to be. Also at the appetizer: the deer carpaccio was good, but tomato carvings of cocktail tomatoes do not fit the deer, nor are such decorations contemporary. The service was somewhat slow, but quite humorous and very friendly so pleasant. This restaurant is recommended. I visited this inn twice. During the second visit there should be a traditional slaughter plate. It's a dead home. Battle plates have tradition in Baar. When the colder season comes, it is slaughtered. Firstly, the pigs have reached their slaughter weight and secondly, space has to be created for the new rearing. In addition, cold weather supported the durability of sausages and other products in freshness. Now I'm back and happy. You can't describe it differently. I've tried a lot of battle plates, especially in the Lake Constance. And every time, I longed back to Münsterland after the slaughter days – although the plates in the south of Germany were also good. There was a butcher soup – elsewhere also called sausage soup. That was already the basis for a lasting feeling of happiness. Then there was fresh meat: liver sausages, sausages and blood sausages of the finest quality. Well meat or belly meat belonged to it. In other restaurants one was usually already at the end of the glory. Not in the lion in Kirchdorf in Brigachtal. Liver, very gently swollen in a tasty sauce, pork bäckle, also swollen, smoked and the tongue of the pig, thinly cut open as it must be. As supplements one had the choice between roasted potatoes, late zle, puree, peas and sauerkraut. The sauerkraut had a beguiling winey, mild taste, as you rarely find it. For my good fortune, the battle food will be repeated in the next few weeks and I will not be too far an hour's drive. A word at the price? Shame low! Today I experienced country-house gastronomy at the highest level."
