"I informed the woman at the checkout that I had a Waterstones plus account as I entered my pin in the machine, but she just shrugged. When I asked if she could apply the discount, she continued to shrug and said it wasn't really possible. I mentioned that another employee was able to do it, but she still showed no effort. I then asked if she could apply the discount if I provided my Waterstones plus account number, but she shrugged again. I tried to log in on my phone, but forgot my password and eventually gave up. When I returned home, I discovered that this discount was not actually possible. She could have made more of an effort to explain this to me, but instead she seemed indifferent. Overall, I found her behavior to be charmless, unpleasant, and ill-mannered. It was a disappointing customer service experience."

I love this book shop. The chap who served me was really helpful and certainly seemed to have a passion for books as well.

The café is fantastic, with new staff now in charge. The shop is very orderly. However, it seems that they neglect to clean the bathroom.

Nice to see the little cafe at Waterstones open again after a year. Loose leaf tea was flavoursome and plentiful and a couple of slices of toast made a tasty snack.

Cafe is fine for a cake and coffee whilst dipping into books that you'll look at before ordering off Amazon later. Tends to get busy and the staff can get flustered but it's OK. It is what it is

The cafe in Waterstones was not worth the visit. Very poor food, almost inedible, crispy bacon roll was cold and certainly not bacon, and the avocado on toast was on bread and certainly not fresh. The surroundings were not great either.

Had a hot chocolate,a mocha and a blueberry muffin between two of us, plus a dog treat for our dog. Different staff to our last visit. Quick service, nice drinks and a tasty muffin. Nice to visit a dog friendly cafe and look at books too.

Olivia provided outstanding customer service. She showed a deep passion for literature and reading. When I asked for recommendations, she was extremely helpful and enthusiastic. Olivia went out of her way to take me around the shop and find books that I would love.

Waterstones in Cirencester is a joy. Staff are exceptional and I can’t praise Olivia enough. Her knowledge and enthusiasm was infectious and the energy she brought to locating the right book was gratefully received. Bought several books on sound advice from her. Also a huge selection of Paperblanks which have been difficult to get elsewhere (Guildford).

We stopped into this coffee shop for a coffee and tea cake. For a start the tables are made of slatted wood- the muck between the slats is absolutely disgusting. On top of that they wanted to charge us 40p extra for a de-caf coffee. We have coffees daily and we’ve not been to another coffee shop where they charge extra for de-caf. We definitely will not be using this establishment again.

"I had been in this pub for a while, but my family and I were on the way from cheltenham to Westonbirt at 17 o'clock and called for an early dinner. all four of us said that the meal was faultless, we enjoyed all three courses and cannot praise this place enough. such a great atmosphere, cordial greeting from the incredibly fabulous staff and a seat directly at the log tariff. what more can they demand. it is easy to find, beautiful location and has plenty of parking right next to the pub. in summer there is a large garden back. in februar this is the place to eat when they go to visit the colesbourne snowdrop gardens that are right in front of the house and not to miss. the menu at the colesbourne inn is huge and offers for everyone something wonderful, regardless of their taste or nutrition to choose. my calamari ‘Bar Bite’ size starter was superb and definitiw a greater part than we expected. the other appetizers, a black bell and black pudding with fried egg was superb as well as the bread selection we also ordered. mostly fish Pie....only full of a lot of different fish and whistle fish. my son had the steak and ale pier he claimed he was the best he had eaten in a very long time. two of us had the nut roast dinner.... I want my Christmas dinner to be as good as that. desserts of fruit crumbs and custard finished the meal with the obligatory glass or two of fizz. for each device in these times to offer this incredible selection of oriented, which is an absolute credit for them by the most kind of employees ever and the very high standards they did. highly recommended at any level possible. well made the colesbourne inn"
