"this is an amazing place, not only the home of the bbc TV show of the repair shop also our history, how things were done and how we lived and changed with the time. all staff here are helpful and very knowledgeable, they are proud that they have over 400 volunteers themselves. great place for the children and many open places. before site had made caffe to house eating on as well as a large selection of gluten-free and vegan options. the cakes are wonderful, and they sell local ice cream again they have a vegan option. I can't praise this place enough."

This open air museum offers a insight into how people lived in the past. There were staff there demonstrating how bread was made and tasted the day I went. It's a very scenic place and things to do for all ages.

What a lovely place. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and the staff are lovely. They are all a very friendly team and an absolute pleasure to chat with. If only other places could match the customer service they provide the country would be a much better place. The visit really made our day. Well done and thank you.

I asked for the cheese and chutney sandwich with gluten-free bread, my friend had hers on granary seeded bloomer. When they both arrived, mine looked very un-appetising in comparison and the bread was borderline stale. There are lots of amazing and delicious Gluten-free seeded and wholemeal breads available now so come on you can do better than that!

I love this open air museum, it benefits definitiw for a visual learner like me. the pond was beautiful with sunny weather. the staff and the volunteers were very well informed about the building. the most amazing thing is that all buildings were dismantled, then again with the original materials and the buildings are still working, for example the Carpenter workshop and the dry brick surface! We popped in for coffee and cake, the poor review reflects the utterly terrible coffee, when you pay over 3.50 for a small mug I expect it to at least be good, my Latte was nothing but froth, it wasn’t even half full, and tasted pretty bad too, my friend had a Americano which although was nearly a full cup tasted like cheap instant , maybe I should had complained at the time , but I’m not one to make a fuss, whoever runs this place , please sort it out, I’m fed up with paying over inflated prices for ****

An excellent museum. There is loads to see here, so very good value. The people here are friendly and informative. It's a unique place with houses that have been saved and rebuilt. It's a history of how we have lived in England since Saxon times. The talk and visit of the Downland Gridshell was excellent. This is an amazing building and the visit of the store below was fascinating. The only one criticism was the quality of the sandwiches in the café, which were a bit dry and possibly a day old. Overall a super place to visit.
