"Ordered one child's meal while we made our choices. The bar staff had vanished and all we could see was one large Old English sheepdog. After waiting several minutes the bar staff returned and took our order which we paid in advance BIG MISTAKE .Our food took nearly 40mins..Our party of 4 (including 1 child)were the ONLY customers in the bar. I wanted to enquire how much longer I would have to wait and /Or cancel our meals.. however the bar staff had done a vanishing act. It is the first time visiting this pub and it very welcoming with great food. They do 2 main dishes for £18 which is very good value. I had scampi and chips and it was spot on. I would definitely come here again and i recommend visiting.

Thank you. We as a family were searching for a place to go to eat and with it being 5pm I rang and asked if we could have a table of 6 adults and 2 kids and we were booked in straight away. We arrived and straight to our table and nothing was too much, the staff are friendly and very helpful. Perfect little pub. Again thank you x

Had a lovely meal Wednesday evening as normal at our local but the service wasn’t the usual standard we normally receive. The girl on duty was more interested in the children playing in front of the bar and what was on her phone then serving us, Such a shame as we always enjoy the food and normally receive lovely service from the girls on the bar. Hopefully will be better next time as we do like to support our local Pub every week.
