White Bull At Alston

What a great place,me and the hubby took my mum and he's Aunty for lunch,I'd never been before and thought the atmosphere of the place and the food where very good and will go again.

Had a fantastic meal at the White bull on Saturday evening (16/9/16). Food delicious and staff very friendly. I had the seabass with linguini followed by sticky toffee pudding; food heaven. Would highly recommend.

We recently had my Dad's wake here and I couldn't be anymore grateful for the service we received. It's a gorgeous spacious venue, fantastic service from all staff and the food was delightful. A perfect place to come together and celebrate his life. Thank you

Been on more than one occasion and absolutely LOVE this place! Each and every time , the food has been outstanding (tasty, well presented and great choices!! . Staff have always been very helpful and courteous.......the whole experience is always a pleasure! White Bull has become one of our favourites!!!! Definitely recommend it! Xx

I highly recommend this restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were very accommodating when it came to special dietary needs. I was offered a selection of four vegan meal options and was also told that if I saw something on the menu that could be customized, they would happily do that. It was one of the most beautifully presented meals I've had while dining out.

I had a meal at White Bull, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our food was served quickly and was a delight to eat. The beer selection was excellent as well. I highly recommend White Bull as a great spot for a meal, especially if you're looking for somewhere special. Kudos to Alex for running such a well-managed establishment!

A friend recommended the White Bull to me a few months ago so when we saw a special deal on Travelzoo, we decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed. Great food and huge portions, not what you 'd expect on a special deal. My husband had probably the best soup he 'd ever had. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable too. A lovely place to eat. We will definitely be back!

We went out for dinner tonight with three people and enjoyed a lovely meal. We started with the monkfish starter and the pear and walnut salad, both of which were delightful. The gammon steak was also fantastic, and the specials of the night were a real treat. The staff was incredibly attentive and very friendly, making our experience even better. Overall, it was a delicious dining experience for a Tuesday night!

we go as often into the white bull as we can, as we never are disappointed with eating! as we 've vegan 6 months, sometimes eating can be a task in itself! they end up together a charge of side dishes that they never really want, but must have due to the lack of choice. not the white bull! we booked a table last night and I always let them know about our unpleasant dining room requirements. Although there was a suitable dish on the menu, kelvin informed us that the new chef cook had rusted us a apricot cous with sweet potato tagine. it was the most tasty food we had in a long past! I wanted to order more to bring it home, we will certainly demand it again! and we have let our as amusing vega...
