"Looking a for a place near my hotel for a quick dinner, I spotted this restaurant and decided to enter. The first impression I had was of a familiar atmosphere. Little sofas around wooden tables, pillows, cozy decorations on the walls, soft lights: everything talked of a place where people of the neighborhood meet friends and relax in front of a drink. The menu presented many chicken specialties, some typical dishes and something also from the Balkan cuisine (I think owners come from there). Being a spätzle lover, I went for Allgäuer Kasspatzn that was really tasty and well prepared. Plus it came in such a big portion that was more than enough for me. The waiter was a nice lady who, despite speaking few words in English, made me feel home. I had a simply, relaxing dinner there, one of the best of my time in München."

Three of us ate her and ordered different types of food. It was all excellent and we would eat here again. In fact we ate here 16 years ago and again this year. Great both times.

Joss 2000, the host seem to have read your review and taken seriously since they have buried you years ago, seems to have done a lot. The garlic chicken wedge was great and the operation was very dedicated. Only the guests were strange, but it's Munich. Can't come back. View menu

Wienerwald restaurants are a part of Germany's culture. They are run as a franchising chain and some are better and some are worse. This one is defenitely a very good one. The spring chicken was succulently juicy, with a crispy skin and a fine taste, not boring but also not too salty. There is a salad buffet, all fresh and tasty. There is a simple but good white house wine available which blends well with the fresh asparagus. My wife had a simple Wiener schnitzel and she loved it.Will definitely come back here!

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
