"We came to Portofino to have an early dinner (shortly past even though we didn't have a reservation, the waitress was able to quickly find us a table. Food came quite quickly, I was pleasantly surprised, I thought we would have to wait a...bit longer (even though it was Thursday, the terrace was already almost full). I ordered a risotto and it tasted really good. My boyfriend decided for a pizza and asked for a few extra ingredients, nothing was forgotten, everything was OK and he was also satisfied with the quality of the meal. To sum up: very lovely and not expensive dinner. Would definitely recommend and would visit again. Gracie à tutti!"

"The reservation was fine. On the spot it was noticed that it was about the fast Touri business. Even small adjustments, such as a “true” Wiener Schnitzel in the proportion of children were not possible. It was just every food as it was on the map. Thus the food was also more modern, tasty but for that it was clearly too expensive system gastronomy. Both good fish and a Wiener Schnitzel are clearly better on site and more friendly staff."

"Wir waren heute das erste Mal im Mantra und können die bisherigen sehr guten bis ausgezeichneten Bewertungen nur unterstreichen.Die Vorspeise kam sehr schön angerichtet zusammen mit einem Saucen-Potpourri mit 12 verschiedenen Saucen / Dips, die man ganz nach Belieben wählen könnte.Die Hauptgerichte waren geschmacklich sehr gut und von der Menge so reichlich, daß man die Vorspeise auch gut hätte weglassen können.Der Preis war mit rd. 50,- € für eine Vorspeise, zwei Hauptgerichte, eine Zusatzoption und drei Getränken absolut gerechtfertigt, insbesondere, wenn man die sehr großen Hauptgerichte berücksichtigt."

"Mephisto is a restaurant and a bar. It was the nearest place to our apartment, we have eaten several times during our holiday. The restaurant runs from 17.00 to 21.00 special offers include various burgers. According to his own statement, the burgers are not produced, but built. The result was: extensive burgers with a patty of 200g or 300g. We took the 200 g of Patty, it was enough. There were also the additions of the respective burger, a small bowl with Cole Slav and a bowl with Twister-Pommes, with a dip of choice. Until the ketchup, the dives were homemade, it was said. We've always done two different dives we shared. I once tried a Crunchy Chicken Burger, even this one was excellent. Instead of beef there was a homemade patty of chicken breast fillet. Polish Zurek was offered on an extra card. This is an acidic rye flour soup, equipped with sausage and meat, overall very degreasing. We knew the soup and thought to order it once (instead of the burger, both were not to create). The hostess heard this and offered us a small sample, very attentive. At the next visit we ordered the Zurek, each with a part of Cole Slav. The hostess warned us that the quantities were very large. That was true. We had to do everything. Some of Cole Slaw would have been enough to share. The menu is available on the website. In October 2021, 17.80 EUR was needed for the burgers. They were all worth their money. Besides the Cole Slaw, we didn't try the other dishes. We assume that they are as good and extensive as the burgers. From 9:00 p.m., the exclusive bar operation begins until 1:00 p.m. After the rich food we had a baggage, it was not far to the apartment. The staff, consisting of the Berlin owner and his wife, including a bar lady and a chef, was friendly and friendly. The atmosphere was friendly. We were finally greeted like old acquaintances. There are outdoor spaces outside the door that were not in operation in October. Inside is not very big. A vault with a few bar stools before eating with a few tables. No wonder no reservations were accepted. The little place didn't come here. I heard several times how callers were asked to just come by. The big burgers seemed to be known. We always arrived at 20:00, then the biggest rush of the food guests was over and we had the chance to get one of the tables. We met several families with children in the Teenie age who sat peacefully in front of their burgers. The restaurant is accessible to disabled persons. On the front there is a staircase, on the side a ramp to the entrance. There is no disabled toilet. Anyone who likes burgers or the other dishes offered can try it here. We liked the visits to Mephisto. We wish the operators a good success and return to Kühlungsborn."

"Hmmm, ich bin mir nicht sicher. Hier mein heutiges Erlebnis: Wir hatten nicht reserviert und uns spontan entschieden. Wir bekamen keinen Tisch drauen, obwohl viele frei wren, auch noch als wir gingen. Aber das ist bei vielen Restaurants heute so, es soll Kunden locken. Wir bekamen schnell die Karten, die Bestellung d¼rfte aber warten. Wir wollten viele Gerichte in die Mitte zum Teilen, Eines wurde vergessen, Eines kam vorweg alleine. Unbehagen kam aber auf, als andere f¼r ihre Flasche ein K¼hler bekamen, wir aber nicht, der Brotkorb 4 Scheiben hatte, am Nebentisch 6. Einzig eine nette Frau hat viel in der Bedienung wieder gut gemacht. Schade, denn das Essen war bei den 7 bestellten Gerichten 6x sehr gut. Vielleicht muss man hier doch nicht so leger angezogen sein, um angemessen bedient zu werden. Was den Abend auch tr¼bte, was aber auch mal passieren kann, waren die Toiletten, die an diesem Abend nicht benutzbar waren. Hier wurden wir auf die ffentlichen verwiesen, die ein paar Huser weiter sind. Wir haben den Abend lieber an diesem Punkt abgebrochen. Alles in allem war es ein mittelmiges Erlebnis.
