Great location. The view is worth the money alone. Great breakfasts, open early too.

Environment was very shabby, food very very average, service lovely. I was very taken aback that the decor was so shabby and the place smelled of neglect.

Had a lovely lunch today at Winterfield. Great choice of menu and reasonable. We ate in the sun room and views were spectacular. Wouldn't hesitate in going back. Lovely friendly staff.

After a nice run down the coast it’s nice to stop and have dinner at Winterfield golf club at Dunbar. Food and service first class and the views up the forth are amazing. Always a warm welcome.

Made very welcome by staff. Out on a walk along the coast and called to ask if we could have coffee/cake. Had coffee, tea and scones. All served very pleasantly. Good drinks and delicious scones. Sat in conservatory with fabulous views along the coast. Would love to return for lunch or evening meal. A great pit stop.

Took over an hour before we got our average food. When we politely asked about any kind of compensation or discount at the end, they just said ‘well you saw how busy we were’, which was really not very busy at all. All the tables around us had to wait over an hour for their food too. Looking at the other reviews maybe we got unlucky with particularly poor staff today, but we won’t be coming back.
