What a great find this pub. Food was absolutely lovely and staff are very friendly. You can even take your dog. Will be going again.

The restaurant is incredibly welcoming, with attentive staff who provide excellent service. The dishes are beautifully presented, making for an enjoyable dining experience.

The atmosphere was great, lots of people of all ages. Food was good, we all had haddock and chips and all enjoyed. Couldn’t distinguish who the servers/staff were as no uniform that I could see but won’t stop me coming again. View menu

Welcoming and very helpful staff. Fantastic customer service skills. Extremely dog friendly, our little dog enjoyed his chicken treat plus food for humans also really good. We were just passing through sadly but happy to recommend!

Having not been for a long time, and after hearing good things, gave it a try. 4 adults and 2 kids. Service was great and food was very good, nothing to much trouble to make it easier with the kids. Football.was on but such a nice quiet atmosphere. The young man Dan I think he was manager) was a credit to himself and the brewery. Will definitely be back.

At the pub, we found it to be surprisingly quiet; in fact, we were the only ones in the bar. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service was great since we had the place to ourselves. A few other customers showed up before we left, but it was disappointing to see so few people. Our visit was on a Tuesday at 1 PM, and I hope it’s busier at other times. View menu

that was nice and there was a lot of it. they treated the food intolerances of my daughter brilliant and had many vegan options even dessert for. the staff was pleasant and tried their best to be helpful and efficient, but the service was really slow because their simply were not enough staff. to the happiness we were not in any hurry, so it was not a big problem.

This was our first visit since it changed hands, we were regulars previously so I was a little hesitant. However the food was great and good value, the service was freshly and tye staff happy to chat. A casual approach so youre not being asked how your food is all the time which can be annoying. Would have liked a to be asked about drinks as I had to go and find someone for re fills. Overall a very pleasant lunch, we will go back, straightforward and good value, definitely recommended

We only encountered one staff member, and she was wonderful, managing everything on her own. The restaurant was quite empty with few customers, but a group of men increased the noise level significantly. The food was average; it was clear that the grill had been used extensively earlier, as evidenced by the charred parts on the chicken. Overall, we didn't expect fine dining, and the price we paid for our meal was fair. While I wouldn't say we wouldn't return, I don't think it would become a regular spot for us. View menu
