"I hate to be critical, but I can only speak about the food we had at this restaurant. The flat white was weak, too large, and tasted bland - more like a cheap latte from a machine than a proper flat white. The quiche lacked seasoning and was also bland and forgettable. The scones were dry, crumbly, and tasted like toast with no flavor. Unfortunately, the food here was very disappointing. Despite the friendly staff, the restaurant could greatly improve by offering higher-quality food such as artisan cakes, local produce, and rich, flavorful coffee. With these improvements, this place could be exceptional."

Afternoon tea was sooo yummy. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to try more of the menu.

Lovely place for coffee, although the coffee machine broke! We we're offered filter coffee as a substitute. Very good selection of cakes savoury food including delicious gluten free carrot cake which I enjoyed. Staff were polite helpful

This is such a cute little place, excellent food and cakes. Sadly it’s let down by the customer service. Quite abrupt staff and not very welcoming. Such a shame as we’ve been a few times now and it’s happened every time. Perhaps some customer service training could be valuable. View menu

Lovely, very popular cafe. Good coffee. We had toasted tea cakes which were rather dry and only had two small pats of butter which were insufficient to cover the whole surface of the tea cakes. Just an unfortunate choice that morning and not theost welcoming staff. A smile and a bit of good humour would help.

Wye cafe are lucky to be in such a good location. I will still go there as there aren't many other cafes in the area but must say I am often disappointed by the food (dried bread, tasteless hot chocolate etc... and mostly the service is not the best even if they've never been rude, I never got a smile from the waitress...

Best cheese scone EVER!! No, really, it was awesome Good selection of food and drinks, both got and cold Funky decor with mismatched chairs, tables, benches and stools. Massive exposed beams that hint of the history of the building. So cool that dogs are welcomed, especially as people walk across the Downs with humans and dogs alike! Quite a serious member of staff, but attentive View menu

After a morning walk on the North Down Way, we visited the charming little town of Wye. We enjoyed afternoon tea and coffee at the lovely Wye Coffee Shop Kitchen, which is conveniently located on the corner with nearby free parking. We had a delicious wedge of chocolate tiffin and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We would definitely recommend stopping by. Just a small surprise—there was some unexpected thunder and hailstones after walking in sunshine for most of the morning.

My experience at this restaurant was really disappointing. After a long walk on a Saturday, we arrived to find the door open but the waitress had a terrible attitude. She informed us that they were closing soon and that she would check with the chef to see if they could make anything for us, depending on what we wanted. I ended up paying £9 for a plain, small baked potato with tuna which was quite average. To make matters worse, they started cleaning the floors with bleach while we were still sitting there. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience and I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
