"We came for a drink here, which was lovely. Full of happy local people celebrating the life of a legend from the village. What we witnessed was shocking by the leasee of the establishment. She accused a local man of bringing football hooligans from the other (better) public house into her pub. So i found out some facts. There was no complaints from the lessee with regards to the £100s of pounds being spent by these lovely local people who were also appalled and disgusted with this treatment of the lovely local people of Llangrannog. The local legend is named Melvyn Zerk who welcomed these leasees into the village when they arrived like he always did for everyone and a week before he died gave them beautiful lillies from his lilypads on his lake because that was the kind man he was. I for one will never come back to drink at the Ship until they learn to be less judgemental, respectful, kind and caring about other people. Winter will be here soon you will need them more than they will need you."

Called into this pub ddringo a stay at Gwbert on sea. Llangrannog is a 20 min drive. A lovely village, with a stunning beach. Y Llong (The Ship) was an old haunt of mine, so it was nice to return after over 20 years. Very...

Lovely pub, looked nice inside but due to not being dog friendly inside we sat out in the beer garden. A real sun-trap a wonderful time to spend an afternoon, but at £6 a pint it explained why this place was empty compared to...

Absolutely awful experience. Me and my boyfriend visited for a meal during our holiday. Made a trip out of the way especially to visit here. For starters we were greeted with a woman who didn’t have a clue what she was doing, told us we...

Reviews of the Ship rarely if ever mention that as well as the beer and food it is a great music venue. Weekends find a variety of bands and solo singer songwriters performing either inside or in the outside area. There is an eclectic mix...

We ordered two share baskets which came without meatballs and scampi (which the menu then stated it included). When queried with the waitress we were told they ‘ran out’ but replaced them with chicken. We had two pieces chicken in our basket- this included the...

Absolutely disgraceful attitude towards disabled people. My friends and I visited, having paid for an evening of live entertainment. However, as I am a wheelchair user I was verbally abused by the owner. She physically moved me and my wheelchair into a corner and called me an obstruction. When I then left a review, via facebook, she went onto my business page left all sorts of absurd comments in some vile attempt to damage me. She is a nasty piece of work and the venue treats it's customers abysmally. I will never return.

Absolutely disgraceful attitude towards diabled people. My friends and I visited, having paid for an evening of live entertainment, only for the wheelchair user in our group to be abused by the owner, Lynne Blair. She physically moved him and his wheelcahir into a corner and called him an obstuction. When we then left a review, via facebook, she went onto my business page left all sorts of absurb comments in some vile attempt to damage me. I had three meals at the Ship Inn. The steak was fantastic. Cooked to exactly how I like it and tasted like heaven. The pint of prawns and seafood board consisting of cockles, white bait, crab meat and prawns was a lovely seafood experience at the beach. The kiddies sausage and chips filled me and I’m a big kid. I regretted not having the fish and chips which looked really good. Saturday nights live music was a treat and added so much atmosphere to an already lively pub. All the staff were friendly and obliging, making it excellent service. Coming from London, I cannot fault the meal prices especially as I had live entertainment thrown in. Highly recommend The Ship Inn.
