Very delicious food and friendly staff, definitely worth a visit! Just make sure to go to the original Yak and Yeti, there is a 2nd one in Friedenau!

The lunch special of Yak and Yeti is excellent. For about 10 Euros you get a generous choice of two separate dishes, each one tastier than the other. Berlin is full of Indian restaurants, but if you are in the neighborhood, and you like Indian food, this is a very satisfying choice.

Einige nepalesische Gerichte und mehr indische Standardgerichte, aber mit nepalesischer Würzrichtung sind auf der Karte. Lecker zubereitet und nach mit Schärfegrad nach Wunsch.Bei warmen Wetter kann man gut im Vorgarten des Hauses sitzen. Freundliche Bedienung.Nur etwas suche nach einem Parkplatz idst nötig, wenn man nicht in der Umgebung wohnt.

This place opened up not too far from home this summer and quickly became one of the places to go when we don't feel like standing in kitchen. Some not very common Nepalesian dishes and a good selection of Indian food. But the smaller menu already shows that freshness and quality is the main goal here, not having these 100+ dishes menus of the typical Indian places. Some nice hot and spicy options too.Really friendly owner and staff and a nice small summer garden for al fresco dining just make things even better. View menu

We had lunch at Yak Yeti and were positively surprised! The food was delicious with great quality ingredients. They serve a large variety of Indian and Nepalese dishes. I ordered the Momo (kind of dumplings) and loved it. Also their Bathura (fried flat bread) tastes great. And last but not least, we loved two of the three deserts. Oh yeah, one point of improvement: the service could be a bit faster and more child friendly (bringing kids' food immediately for example). But all together a very satisfying lunch at a restaurant we highly recommend!

Es war ein Treffen mit Freunden, also etwa 20 Personen, á la carte. Die Karte war schnell da, der Kellner ist freundlich. Nach Wartezeit kommt der Kellner und nimmt die Order auf. Das Essen kommt (dauert teilweise etwas lang) und ist lecker. Alle sind zufrieden. Leider kommt der Kellner dann nur noch selten vorbei, um nach weiteren Getränken zu fragen. Da wäre reichlich mehr Umsatz möglich gewesen.Schön ist, dass das Yak und Yeti NICHT so "indisch" eingerichtet ist, wie es sich klein Fritzchen vorstellt, sehr angenehme Athmosphäre.Alles in Allem ein schöner Abend mit Luft nach oben...

Haben uns mit Freunden im Yak & Yeti zum Mittagessen in der Woche getroffen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Die Tische sind weiß gedeckt, Servietten schön platziert und auch die Tafelkerze für eine wertige Atmosphäre entzündet. Das Mittagsmenü (3-4 Gerichte zur Auswahl mit Beilagensalat oder Suppe dazu) war mit rund 6 € preisgünstig und hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Wir haben aber auch ein Gericht aus dem normalen Menü gewählt: Ente - hervorragend zubereitet, schön kross und geschmacklich ein Traum. Abgerundet wurde das Mittagessen mit einem schönen Mango-Schnäpschen auf's Haus. Wir werden definitiv hier wieder Essen gehen. View menu
