"Probably not after this recent visit. The whole place was very cold. It wasn’t enjoyable to have the meal when it was so cold around. I get that it was very cold out last week but still. I feel like my meal wasn’t as good this time, compared to how wowed I was on my last visit in the summer. Mine was more like warm than hot. All though my dad ordered the same and his was served piping hot. Would still come and eat here again but was disappointed after this visit on Wednesday."

We visit Zeus regularly as it’s our favourite place and we can never fault the service or food. They are also great for food allergies and birthdays!

I went to Zeus for the first time, for lunch on a Sunday. It is a lovely Greek/Cypriot restaurant with a wide variety of options on the menu. The food was delicious and the service was great. I will definitely be coming back. View menu

Very friendly staff who was very happy to check ingredients for the older member of our party who had an allergy and to make her the best choice. Food was excellent and frwshly cooked, which meant a little wait, but definitely worth it.

I adore this restaurant; the food is fantastic and the ambiance is beautiful. The tables are a bit close together, but the meals are really delicious and served hot. The wine selection is also great, although some options are not available by the glass. The service is good and always pleasant.

Amazing food- we ordered far too much Meze as always. It’s just so hard to choose what to leave out. Service was prompt but not overwhelming and my cocktail (can’t remember what it is called but was with coffee and Baileys) was simply wonderful. We went on a Sunday night so it was very quiet but the music level was just right Can’t wait to come back View menu

Food was lovely but it was so cold inside the restaurant. The table next to ours were at in coats and scarves and asked the waitress to close both sets of doors. She asked ‘the boss’ who said they were fire doors and could not be closed which in my experience if they were fire doors should be kept closed !!! Great food but wear your thermals and don’t sit anywhere near the doors !!

We had a delightful pre-theatre meal at this restaurant. We were the only guests there as it was early on a wet, cold evening, but the cozy atmosphere made it feel inviting. The waitress noticed we were heading to the theatre and asked what time our show was so she could make sure we were served our food promptly. The food was delicious, the cocktails were great, and the overall value was excellent.

"After never visiting Canterbury before we where looking for somewhere to have a late lunch, we came across this place which looked ok, upon entering the back room we were offered to take a seat in the front area and someone will be with us. We asked what food there was and we where sarcastically shown the food on the blackboard, after choosing what we wanted the polite man went off and put the order in. We did feel that because the man had asked a couple of questions to another member of staff that he was spoke down too a bit. Anyway after placing the order and what we wanted the food came out it wasn’t correct but because it seemed like we were going to interrupt the people in the back room we just took what we had. It was nice food though. When we went to pay we hadn’t noticed that there wasn’t a price list so when we asked for the bill we were told that it was donation, what we thought was enough, it wasn’t posted anywhere and it took us by surprise as we where standing at the till, I was going to pay in cash but was told they don’t take cash so I had to give my donation in card by telling the person how much we where donating. After plucking a figure out of air as we wasn’t prepared we paid and left. Upon leaving we felt that the person we paid thought we hadn’t paid enough and wasn’t happy with the amount but after working out what we would have paid properly we worked out that we had paid more than what it might have been if there was a proper price on everything. Overall it has a great ethos and it’s great for giving people the experience that they need to be in a working environment but they need to show the price or tell customers first that it’s donations and card only."
