"Brilliant location near the Newark Castle with parking for £1 just behind the restaurant next to the Castle Barge. Brilliant decor. Nice clean restaurant. Lively and busy, which is good for a restaurant and to enioy being amongst lots of people but not too many. Meals were lush, waitress was funny and really helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed. See photos which includes Caramelised Garlic Bread, which was nice. Only improvements could be a meal deal, NHS discount or 2 for 1 on cocktails (that would have made the night), but also the toilets are known for being a mosquito den (probably because dark and so close to the river). Other than that would highly recommend and will be back when next in Newark hopefully. Not a cheap family meal but worth it. X"

we love Italian food, decided on zizzis to celebrate the 21st birthday of my sohne. we had dinner and some had dessert....all was amazing! the service was brilliant, we had the same waitress all night and she was great, I wish I had her name xx

This restaurant is typical of chain establishments but stands out on the better side. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and the ambiance of the restaurant is quite pleasant. We have a taste card, which makes it an excellent choice for lunch while shopping.

I had a truly amazing experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, earning a 4.5 out of 5, as there were plenty of staff members available despite the low number of customers. The food quality was also impressive, particularly the pasta and desserts, which I would rate a solid 4.5 out of 5. The atmosphere was lovely as well, with a beautiful building and enchanting lighting, giving it another 4.5 out of 5. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience!
