"We recently attended a "vegan night" at Farndon Ferry, a bar/restaurant that typically offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, along with meat dishes. The vegan night featured a set 5-course menu with a glass of wine for £45. The food was delicious, including dishes such as seaweed and sundried tomato arancini, herbal tempura with satay and spicy chili dips, lemon and blueberry cheesecake, and black currant sorbet. It seemed that the restaurant was pleasantly surprised by the large turnout of vegans (we were seated at a table of 18, with another table of 9), but the atmosphere was enjoyable and the service was excellent. I was so impressed by the set menu that I plan to return on a "regular" day to try their vegetarian brunch or tapas."

The restaurant had a great variety of menu options and the cheesecake was delicious. However, the pork sliders I ordered were overcooked and covered in a thick, overpowering peppercorn sauce that made the dish unappetizing. The staff also seemed preoccupied with chatting amongst themselves.

The food was excellent, with a good selection of winter real ales. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was great. The recommended dishes are the Roast Beef and Steak. There is plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot option. Overall, a fantastic place for a dinner meal, costing around £20-30 per person.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. We dined in for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The cost per person is between £40-50. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 5 out of 5. The steak dishes come highly recommended. There is plenty of parking available, with options for free parking in a lot or on the street.

Being perfectly honest we have avoided going here for quite a while after a couple of disappointing visits but we're so happy to see they've really turned it around. We dined as a family of 4 and we all couldn't fault our starters or mains. Service was excellent, friendly and efficient. It's always been a beautiful restaurant but now happily the food and service match the surroundings. Homemade food and beautifully presented. We live in Farndon so we're so happy and will be dining there a lot more frequently. Thank you Farndon Ferry.

My husband and daughters took me out for my 66th birthday lunch at this restaurant today. I wish I could give more stars!!! We were greeted by the wonderful Jo, who made us feel like VIPs. She went above and beyond to make our experience special. The two young waitresses were polite, efficient, and well-managed. The food was a 10/10 - perfectly presented and incredibly flavorful. Everything was served hot and we were given just the right amount of time between courses. My family brought a birthday cake, which was brought out with the waitresses singing and other tables joining in. I felt truly special. This was one of the best birthday meal experiences I've ever had. Well done to everyone in...

"AT LAST!!!! A place we can be proud to bring visitors to. We despair of finding places anywhere near Frodsham or the surrounding area that serves anything near decent and with some understanding of good food. But here it is!! We visited for Sunday lunch. The prawn cocktail was delicious plumptious prawns and a lovely sauce not your usual, strong, out of a bottle. Grandson had a duck with hoisin sauce to start and described it as divine. The Sunday roast was delicious. Lamb, pork and beef all cooked beautifully and the roast potatoes tasted fresh rather than reheated. Mixed veg of leeks with cabbage, peas and beans was tasty as was the mashed sweet potatoes. the choice of puddings was more than I 've ever seen within 20 miles of where I live in Kingsley. Nothing that looked as though it had come out of the freezer and into the microwave. Nothing described as a crumble, which is usually nothing like. And none of those dire plastic, sticky toffee puddings etc. Here we had a wonderful choice of beautifully and colourfully presented dishes frangipani tart with fresh pineapple, fruit and cocoanut ice cream was a prime example. The table for 4 was alive with 4 different dessert choices all of them beautifully colourful, you felt you were in the tropics. On arrival we were quickly greeted and seated. The host was repeatedly checking on guests without ever being intrusive. Every one of the waiters and waitresses were beautifully turned out, attentive, smiling, efficient and they LISTENED to what you required. Ample parking. Clean toilets. A lovely walk in a field with ancient barn and play area just through a wooden gate at the rear of the car park. Thank you. We will be back."
