"Wir haben im Dorfpintli ein Freundetreffen vereinbart. Schon von der Menükarte waren wir überwältigt. Es war schwer eine Auswahl zu treffen. Schliesslich wurde uns der bekannte Joe-Burger empfohlen. Bingo! Es war einer der besten Burger den wir je gegessen haben. Ob in der Brottasche oder als Fitnessteller - einfach grandios. Das Brot war frisch, knusprig und warm. So wie ein Burger sein soll. Der Fitnessteller war sehr gross und alles war frisch zubereitet. Salat knackig, wie frisch gepflückt. Sehr leckere Saucen. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Satt wurde man alle Male. Preis- Leistung ist TOP! Zum krönenden Abschluss kam noch eine Portion Eis. Und dieses Eis hat alles nochmal getopt. Hausgemachtes, frisches Eis mit von Hand geschnittenen, frischen Früchten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Atmosphäre vom ruhigen Iseltwald. Das Wirtepaar ist sehr herzlich und pflegt einen sehr guten Umgang zu den Gästen. Das Restaurant ist definitiv zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder!"

"Wir waren zum Mittagessen im Restaurant.Das Essen war sehr fein, da gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Das Servicepersonal war sehr zuvorkommend höflich und freundlich.Nur auf der Karte, na ja.... muss das wirklich sein? Cherrytomaten im Chabissalat, Zucchetti im Winter. Nein das müsste nicht sein.Schattenhoger Lammigs, und das aus Australien oder Neuseeland, auch das wäre nicht nötig. Einen auf urchig emmentalerisch machen und dann Fleich aus Übersee! wie quer ist das denn?Da hat die Geschäftsleitung noch einiges an Entwicklungspotential."

"Wir wurden schon bei der Reservierung darauf aufmerksam gemacht, das zwei grosse Gruppen gleichzeitig mit uns angemeldet sind. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, die Wartezeit wurde uns mit Aperohäppchen verkürzt. Das gegrillte Fleisch auf dem Hotstone (Auswahl von verschiedenen Fleischarten zu 200/300 g) war nur kurz angebraten worden und man konnte es selbst auf den Punkt braten. Es gab drei Saucen, Gemüse und eine weitere auswählbare Beilage dazu.Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, auch das Rinds Stroganoff und das Zürcher Geschnetzelte schmeckten uns sehr gut.Der dazu beschtellte Rioja passte ausgezeichnet."

WIFIF, TV mit Netflix inklusive im Zimmer. Vom Balkon direkter Ausblick aufs Wasser und die Berge. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. LG Raoul"

"We were here on a Friday evening for dinner. The location is perhaps not so easy to reach, as it is located on the shore of the Brienzersee. Because of the limited space, caused by the delimitations of the lake, parking might not be sufficient....I would therefore advise to park in the town of Ringgenberg and then to walk down to the shore minute walk). The parking might be a negative aspect, but given the position and the limited space of land available it is justified. There is like a terrace outside, which is separated from the restaurant by a road (no worries, there is little noise as few cars pass by) and an internal dining area. We were seated outside and the chairs offered were moderately comfortable. The first impression one receives is certainly a good one, as all waiters are dressed elegantly and the tables are covered with a cloth. However, this changes completely when one receives the menu: it is made out of plane paper. No cover front and back. Just plain, printed paper, which hints a low quality and poor experience. Do not be fooled by this! I am not sure why they present it that way, but the quality of the food will not disappoint you. The waiter serving us was very friendly and open to discussion as we managed to exchange thoughts on a few matters. However, we noticed that there were only two waiters working, which given the busy evening might seem odd. We, however, did not experience any type of delay in accepting orders. The menu is quite complete with an offer of salads, appetizers, meat-based dishes, fish-based dishes and the vegetarian dishes. I ended up ordering the salad plate with the shrimp. Even though there were only pieces of shrimp (plus the salad on the side) the dish actually did manage to fill me up and satisfy my appetite (no idea how that happened). Here is what was not satisfied: my pain receptors in my brain when I had to pull out CHF for some salad and pieces of shrimp. Even for Switzerland this seems a little pricey, however given the touristic location it was to be expected. You also have to keep in mind that the plate was very nicely presented, with aligned shrimp and a piece of lemon on the top. If you are searching for a place to dine by the waters, this might be for you, admitted that you have a certain amount of money in your pocket!"
