During my visit to Aachen I found this lovely restaurant. The staff were so friendly and made me welcome. It's always nice to find a place like this especially when travelling alone. I would certainly recommend

despite corona and overfilling, we have a table for 4 short term. eating was very tasty, cheap ok. ambiente very old-fashioned, but that was not bad for us, we prefer it old-fashioned. very friendly and accommodating. I can make recommendations

For my part, I can say as long as we haven't done anything yet! It was a taste explosion every time in my mouth.The place actually has potential to become my new tribal.The location is super easy to reach! The good transport connection makes it possible to take a trip there.Very good service. I think the whole staff did a harmonious job there.

We tracked down this restaurant: although it's not far from the cathedral, you wouldn't stumble across it just wandering around. Six fat stalks of white asparagus in season with two pieces of ham, a big bowl of boiled parsleyed potatoes and a bowl of melted...butter.... Yummm! Let me know if you need more potatoes or butter, said the very helpful waitress! We couldn't even finish the first lot! It's an oldfashioned kind of place, and seems to be frequented by mostly older local residents, but they have a menu in English. Definitely would go again

With regret, we heard that the place was closed and all the more pleased we were when we heard it opened again. We were there Sunday and I was amazed that nothing was changed in the ambience until new windows and the refurbished toilets. It has not changed the quality and taste of the dishes (we had concerns since it was said that the place has new owners to the GLÜCK has greeted us the well-known staff as always warm and nice and the service is still the same as before the change!!! The dishes are delicious and as usual prepared with a lot of love : If you want to eat tasty and well-bourgeois in the right style, you should go 'To be wary forge'!
