"Dining at La Terrazza degli Dei is a sensorial experience that takes you to an immersive journey. Their pianist is a phenomenal talent and will delight your dinner with a consistently outstanding performance. Their selection of fresh fish is of the highest quality, we found the spaghetti with clams (spaghetti alle vongole) to be the best we have ever eaten anywhere in the world. Growing up in Italy, I know what I'm talking about. Their menu diversity will satisfy every preference or diet profile, the sky is the limit and the choice is yours to combine flavors. Their waiters are incredibly elegant and helpful and will be glad to assist you during your entire dining experience. Last but not least, all of this in a high end classy atmosphere as you are sitting right in front of the legendary temples, that provide a view like no other. We went for lunch and dinner both were beyond fantastic and highly curated experiences. We look forward to seeing la Terrazza degli Dei being a Michelin star rated restaurant. It is well beyond a restaurant, it is a unique life experience whether you are with your loved one for a romantic evening or with your entire family."

"The owner is lovely, she holds her restaurant dear and will go out of the way to make sure your meal is enjoyable. The dishes we ate were astounding, and the cook took the liberty of adding an ingredient to one of them: grapes were added to the crostone. The dish was good on its own, but the addition brought it to a whole other level: I can only assume the grapes filled the sweet flavour that the other ingredients left free in a perfect fit. In the end I told this to the owner and she strongly suggested I go tell the cook, which I did. I 'm happy I can still find places where they care so deeply about the products they serve."

"Our family of 10 was traveling through to visit the Valley of the Temples, and just picked this restaurant solely based on location and opening hours (many places were closed for lunch). Wow did we luck out! Gorgeous views of the valley, informed and attentive service, wonderfully creative menu, and of most importance: the food was fantastic! Honestly, it was a little more in terms of quality, atmosphere, and price than we had been looking for, but it turned out to be a lovely oasis before braving the heat of a Sicilian afternoon looking at Greek ruins. And to those of you who are Downton Abbey fans, our waiter reminded us of Mr. Carson not in age or looks, but it was clear he is someone who appreciates the finer points of a dining experience and wanted to make sure ours was up to par. Thank you!"

"We went to the restaurant because it was near our hotel and the menu looked promising. The main course came pretty fast and food was delicious. We then waited over an hour for the main course. No apologies for the delay which is hard to understand because the place was quite empty when we sat down to eat. The main courses were decent, not as good as the appetizers. And the meal wasn't very expensive. So we had a decent meal at a decent price but we walked in at 8 and walked out at 10:15 pm. Not great service."

"The view is nice.... But the food isn 't as impressive as they want it to be. Had the fried fish anti, pasta with red prawn, and the amberjack. The fried fish was ok, but you couldn 't really taste any of the underlying fish/prawns, and the mayo was just mayo. The red prawn sauce was the standout hit of dinner, but the pasta was underdone. The waiter explained that it was pasta fresca , so that 's why. Uh... I make fresh pasta all the time and know that it needed another minute. The amberjack was cooked well, but the sauce didn 't compliment it well for me. Come for the view, but don 't expect your highlight Sicilian meal. Also if you sit outside with the nice views, be prepared for very busy traffic noise from the road below."

Our only criticism is the very bright lighting in the dining areas which detracts from the atmosphere at night. Ambience is so important and dimming the chandelier is so easy to do. "only compliments would be very reduced and stars are really few! here is my experience followed by the photos. I heard from some friends of this place and then I saw him compete at a farmed cooking show and so he got me very curious. we start from a very good entrée: a black cuttled meatball on ricotta foam and candy orange stews, then. appetizers: raw to the sharpness of the fresh rawness) and the sardines to beccafico that left me speechlessly from the croccandezza out to the heart (filled) very soft, then. linguine: curl and almonds with stems of parsley, super good and impeccable cooking not to mention the cream of almonds that tied everything impeccablely, then. ombryn fillet with field vegetables and fermented lemon sauce (spectacular! we also took a pork stylus to bbq and potatoes and pinions (perfect cooking! then in the end we took different desserts. lemon granita, apple peel, warm heart and ricotta cannolo and then. coffee and kill coffee which was a red orange based liquor (exquisite! In short, as you understood from my review I was really amazed by the food they served me, I make my compliments to the enzo chef because there was nothing wrong! I also congratulate cristina maitre in the room and the boys who served us and pampered for the duration of the lunch! Finally I compliment the location that a beautiful villa and a spectacular garden, cared for and ordered, a shame that I went in the day because they told me that in the evening is even more suggestive, but surely I will return! Finally, the account, perfectly in the norm, considering that you eat fish and meat of very first choice. Congratulations to all! it is nice to find these premises in Sicily, value the territory very much! In short, if you are agrigento or in the surroundings and you want to eat really well lost aguglia is the place that does for you."

"Bello il nome, bello il sito e vasto l 'orizzonte del panorama. L 'arredamento marca sulla propria identità siciliana col giusto accento di modernità. Tutto è minimalista con sostanza. I tavoli sono anche all 'esterno. La “mise en place” è calda, coinvolgente, una bella Sicilia raffinata. Ben coordinata e seguita la cucina; si avvale di prodotti di prima qualità e il giusto connubio coi prodotti agrigentini. Non manca l 'offerta vegetariana, celiaca e vegana. "Locale carino, personale molto gentile è disponibile. Ora parliamo della cucina antipasti top, le delizie di Montalbano buono vario ingredienti di qualità e gusto definito, insalata di polpo e patate cottura perfetta sia del polpo che delle patate. Primi piatti:spaghetto con le vongole Erano lupini ma molto gustosi cottura della pasta perfetta. piccola pecca leggermente invadente il vino bianco ma nel insieme più che buono. D'altro canto il calamaro ripieno con cuos cous di pesce all interno perfetto! Per non parlare della salsa ai crostacei fotonica piatto da 10 cottura perfetta gustoso ottimo da provare. Terza portata polpo su letto di crema di patate e zafferano buonissimo cottura perfetta e gusto ben definito la cena ottima. L unica lacuna la pasticceria, il dolce buono ma non buonissimo ma era confezionato. quindi locale assolutamente consigliato prezzi buoni qualità prezzo perfetta anzi potrebbero osare di più perché merita tantissimo la cucina! Speriamo di avere occasione di tornare in un futuro.."

"I could not navigate the rain in this hilly town so went to local place. Wow. Special of the day mussel soup. A generous portion of mussels in highly flavorful broth. Lovely people run it with baby in tow. Fish excellent. But my favorite was spartan decor and lighting from the Italian 40s. Like a movie set and Bertolucci was going to enter soon to tell me Italy fascists are coming. Just a dream to go along with tiramisu of great flavor and a local white wine. Highly recommend to solo travelers."

"last evening in Sicily before returning home and last opportunity to get the fish crudités, which we had not been able to find so far. the stage is agrigento, obligatory to try before unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to the inability of the open space in front (return). a shop next to me recommends krokos not far away. the first visual impact is not dazzling, but they have the dish that I look for, and book. the crudités arrive in a reasonable time, rare in the relaxed Sicilian. oysters, white and red shrimps, scampi, and in the center a sumptuous dadolat (called tartare would be reduced) of tuna. a delight! The price? Ssssht, find out yourself! as second: tuna with balsamic (exquisite and grilled shrimp and fish (good, not exceptional, a little dry). even these arrived with little wait. a small misunderstanding about the zibibbo (perhaps good) at the end of the dinner was resolved satisfactorily. half bottles of wine available. Young, courteous and attentive staff. is located along the Athenaeum."

"A restaurant with a great view of the temples and Agrigento in the background. That's all I can say about it. Tourist food. I had Pizza Diavolo in northern Italy. If I remember correctly, they had cheese in them. This is only tomato sauce with some extremely salty capers and some salami. I had to ask for comminuted paprika to make it sharp. The Zuppa di Cozze was not impressive at all. I had many in other restaurants and they all have white wine sauce and here is sweet tomato sauce. What about the sugar? The handle I have with some Sicilian restaurants is that they add sugar to their tomato sauce to cut on the sours that deform the original taste. The lower line is the food here is not great. I guess you pay for the view. If you want a glass of wine or beer with a pizza (not pizza diavolo) and a view. You can come here. I wouldn't order the appetizers or dishes.
