"Honestly couldnt have loved this place more, I'll try and go as detailed as I can because I don't think this place gets the credit it deserves; Hotel: So we found a deal on Groupon for one night stay here with £25PP dinner allowance, complimentary bottle of wine to take to the room on arrival, breakfast and late check out. Vera was on the reception who was so lovely and welcoming and showed us where parking was, we saw you could upgrade to the super king suite for £20, it was available so we decided to do it and honestly, no regrets! The rooms was stunning! A hydro bath in the room, little mini kitchen with everything you need with facilities. The bathroom was huge with a rainfall shower. Everything was perfect!! The ONLY thing I'm sad about and this is literally me personally and was not the hotels fault, I didn't sleep very well because if the bloody seagulls all through the night, so if your a light sleeper, bring ear plugs! This wasn't the hotels fault! Was such a perfect stay! Restaurant: We booked a table for dinner when we checked in and the restaurant was stunning, the service was lovely, the cocktails were yummy and the food, just amazing! We got two starters and two mains and it covered the allowance, all we paid for was the drinks. Area: Before we got to the hotel, we stopped at the dock and Lakes Aquarium and it was so cheap and such an amazing last minute decision! Lots of shops and beaches within the distance! Honestly, overall this place was an absolute pleasure to stay at and would 100% recommend! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience, it was everything we needed!"

"We were eager to visit Coasters after their apparent multi-million pound facelift and checked out the evening al a carte menu on their website. It all looked very tempting if a little pricey but went ahead with the booking. On arrival they were unable to find our booking, despite it having been confirmed, but managed to squeeze us into an almost deserted dining room...... The waitress who attended to us was witless. God only knows what the trainee who scurried along behind her made of it all. We watched as she wandered aimlessly from one table to another followed by her bemused cohort, trying to find the correct one to offload the meals she was carrying. To cap it all, she knew nothing about the various drinks and had to 'go and find out ' more than once. Disappointingly, the photocopied menus bore no resemblance to what we had seen on the website. A rather bland selection of 'dumbed-down ' meals but still with the same high price tag. Clearly the original chef had some foreboding and quite wisely scarpered only to be substituted by somebody significantly less accomplished. The meals in themselves were even more disappointing than the Xeroxed versions but hunger overcame the tasteless and poorly presented offerings. Thank goodness the Shipyard ale made it somewhat palatable. We were amused to find a large chunk of cork, at least the size of a placemat coming away from the underside of our table. By this time the antics of the hapless staff had become the highpoint of our evening. Needless to say the table near us were equally unimpressed to find out the staff knew nothing of their 'pre-ordered meals ', nor of Simon who took them....... There was one saving grace, our occasional waiter Johnathon. He dealt with the dilapidated table part amusingly and seemed to have an inkling of how things should run, unlike the manager who was not in evidence. All in all a very disappointing hour wasting £70 which would have been better spent on a couple of take-aways. They 've made s pretty good effort to upscale the place, but quite clearly the chef, manager and staff, with the exception of the evening 's saviour, need to be replaced. Will we return? Not on your Nelly."

"Me and my partner ordered via Just Eat and are rather disappointed, not for the first time to say the least. I ordered the BBQ Chicken, Bacon and Cheese Wrap which is normally something I would buy regularly as I have been impressed in the past. However, the so called BACON? Was black, burnt and absolutely disgusting and completely ruined the wrap. Last time I checked, it isn’t that hard to stick a few rashes of bacon in a pan and NOT burn it, especially when you’re trained to do this. Completely baffles me to be very honest. So once again going hungry due to the carelessness of your “chefs” I proceeded to feed the rest of the wrap to my dog, and judging by the face he pulled whilst eating it..he wasn’t a fan of the charcoal wrap either, I mean who would be anyways? On the contrary, I also ordered the Cheesy Garlic Bread and it was cold on arrival. Nothing more to say on that really, it’s just common decency to make sure your customers food arrives warm and edible. By all means disagree with me, but this is no way to run a business. Lastly, we ordered a Reece’s cookie and this is not what we received. Instead, we received an Oreo cookie with a note on the packaging saying “No Reece’s/Wrapport sent Oreos instead sorry x” Okay so I think you should have contacted us to make sure this was alright, I shouldn’t have to pay for something I didn’t want. And the fact you wrote “sorry x” is just rather cheeky isn’t it, let’s face it. As this is not the first time I have had to complain, I will not be ordering from this place again and will be advising people not to!"
