"We were staying locally so decided to try here as the reviews were good. First impressions , the two young boys serving seemed inexperienced and out of their depth. Got a table, ordered drinks, which took a little while to come. Table next to us who came after us got theirs first. A lady who seemed in charge was directing the boys in the most basic of tasks. One of them came to clean down the table next to us and the cleaning solution was lemon, very strong, almost choked on it. Note to owner, tone down to something more neutral. So our order was taken by the lady in charge and the combo platter we chose, which we ordered by number, was served and it was the wrong combo platter. I couldn’t be bothered to argue so just ate it, it was actually very nice, but I’m glad I’m not a vegetarian, as it was all meat, I’d ordered the vegetarian platter. We both had chicken dishes, my husband’s stir fry was a bit spicier than he liked, but not a complaint. Just the wrong choice for him, my Massaman curry was very tasty, a couple of chewy bits in the chicken, but otherwise ok. I ordered a second glass of Pino Grigio, but it took a while to come, the young boy I ordered from came and asked if I’d like a drink, I said yes the one I ordered and haven’t got yet! It was poured and I could see it was yellow, like cloudy lemonade. The Thai lady tipped it out and I got a new one, but it was warm, so served with a side of ice. So, would I come here again? Probably not. Lots of takeouts being picked up, seems popular, but nothing special in my opinion."

"Unfortunately you can't prebook at this restaurant for groups smaller than persons. So my friends and I arrived just after on a busy friday night and were told there was around a minute wait for a table. We were expecting this...so we went to Wallis and Co for a couple of tasty for cocktails while we waited. hour and minutes later and we still hadn't been called! so went back to the restaurant and again waited to speak to the staff. Apparently they were just about to call us and so we were seated straight away. The staff were all very busy, but we did struggle to flag someone down to place our order and then to ask for more drinks etc. The food arrived quickly though once ordered and I was very impressed with both the quality and quantity of the food! We had ordered dishes each and then a couple more to share between which equals a huge meal! Everything was well cooked and served hot to our table, and everything was delicious. I would definitely return for the food, but just try to choose a less busy night. I love sangria! and was very excited that Casa served it so ordered a full pitcher to myself! Unfortunately it wasn't very good at all and I could only manage to drink about half of it. My friends enjoyed the cocktails though. Bread is brought to the table, which was great to nibble on while we waited for the food as we were all starving at this point! as it was around before we finally ate. The meal was good value at around each, including drinks and around tapas each. I paid more as obviously had a whole pitcher to myself! Pitchers are around each. Colourful jelly beans are brought out with bill. Afterwards we went to The Fuschia Lounge for some amazing Halloween themed cocktails! :"

"Carvery here was recommended by a family member. Today (Sunday we decided to deviate from where we usually go for our carvery and try Sambuca Windmill big mistake! Upon entry, we were quickly seated. Drinks orders taken and delivered very quickly. No The place was very busy lots of noise, kids and people rushing about, loud music adding to the noise. Carvery didn’t look great so we asked for a main menu, to be told after drinks were served that they don’t serve the main menu until after 4pm on a Sunday. We nearly walked out. We should have. Long queue for the carvery. Limited choice of veg. Dry meat (maybe why the waiter drowns your food in gravy at the end! and only a few slices. Your roast potatoes, mash, watery stuffing and very thick gravy are slopped on by a server who ignores the fact you tell him 3 times ‘no mashed potato’ then hoys it on top of your vegetables! Food tasted okay. Half way through the meal there was loud clapping. We looked around to see the carvery meat server stop serving to clap loudly for no apparent reason and this seemed to go on forever then the night club style music was turned up even louder causing a few customers near us to look at each other and shake our heads in shock/despair whatever you want to name it! It was not a calm and relaxing atmosphere to eat. We won’t be paying over £32 (11.95 each for carvery plus a pint of lager and Pepsi Max for this experience again."
