"Lovely little place to get food and a drink. Would have been 5 start but was quite disappointed with one of the dishes we received in our party.I ordered the plate of the day as it actually sounded like a nice little dish: chicken escalope with spaghetti and a nice tomato sauce and a decent size side salad, however, i had started eating my chicken i realised it was a bit chewy and upon inspecting i found that it was still very much raw...I brought it to the attention of a waitress who took it away immediately without saying a word and it was at least 15 minutes before it came back, and by the time it did the rest of my family were finished their meals. Anyway I ate my pasta, which was now dry, and the chicken was tough; it had just be re-cooked, and over cooked (Never happy, i know).3/5 may seem harsh but here is the kicker:We had a crepe desert and then asked for the bill, my partner was surprised to not find a discount as we were charge full amount (I wasn't, although that is common custom in UK to get it off the bill) although i would have appreciated a simple apology, but never even got that, not a word was said from when the plate was taken away, to when the bill was delivered! I was in no way derogatory or nasty to the staff when raising the issue of the chicken but i shouldn't have to feel like i had just caused a unnecessary hassle because my food was still raw! I have worked in a kitchen and understand how these things can happen, especially when it was so busy but still... Poor show..."
