"We arrived on a very cold dark day to be welcomed by Keith.We had the king room at the front of the building facing the road, let's just say traffic noise wasn't a problem. The room was warm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bar and restaurant areas are lovely, a proper traditional pub, and the fire a real bonus. Lesley took our food orders steak pie for him, and a steak for me, the portions were huge and very well cooked, all fresh local produce. We shared a home made coconut tart and custard.After food we wandered back into the bar to have a few drinks, we had a great evening chatting to Keith and lesley who were very friendly and welcoming. A stagger up the stone stairs and a very good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent and well cooked, again all local produce. We throughly enjoyed our stay, and can't wait to go back. Top notch all round with fantastic hospitality.
