"A little Jewel in Wellington... I stumbled upon this little place as it was closer to the Bus Station. Am I glad I did? Oh my goodness absolutely.. it simply became the highlight of that day. Raj who was in charge and his team knew almost all of his customers by name and their preferences. They extended the same hospitality to me a total passer by. And the food? I’ll need to elaborate.. All I ordered was the full English Breakfast; despite Raj’s recommendation to sit down and eat, I had it as take away. 30 minutes later I wished that I did sit down, taken my time and enjoyed it with the respect it deserved... Even in a take away box and eating while travelling, I enjoyed every second of consuming it! How do you know it’s a great breakfast you may ask? Well you know it when you see and taste the mushrooms.. Let me just talk about the mushrooms here, these little guys were just perfect! Not the little tinned button mushrooms that cafe's dish out these days, not the ones that taste like paper. I mean these not so little fellas were muscled up, like they went to gym everyday and were well fed growing up and they looked happy and cooked to perfection. A bit like Raj if you’re fortunate to ever meet him lol) Then the tomatoes, they were free range yes I know as impossible as it seems that’s how they seemed to me) and just very happy to be there and be eaten amongst the other delicious things assembled there together. Similarly, the thick perfect bacon rashers and the sausages, I'm sure they found their purpose in life and were there just chilling in perfect harmony enjoying being part of the band among those mushrooms, the tomatoes, and the beans...I could go on and on. Combine that with generously buttered bread and beans to mop it all up at the end. I think I may have discovered my personal English Breakfast Heaven! No wonder they have the community restaurant award on the wall. I will take and post pictures next time I’m there. I cannot wait to go back and try the other stuff on their menu. What an authentic experience.. truly amazing! All I can say is Thank you Raj and his team"

"We booked in for afternoon tea after my daughter gifted me a voucher from their website for Mother’s Day. We visited on a very hot Sunday afternoon. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who took us through to the conservatory area where soft modern music was playing, sat us down at a table laid with pretty china plates and tea cups and took our drink preferences (tea or coffee). Drinks arrived within a few minutes together with a jug of iced water. Service was very relaxed but professional. They were very busy hosting parties, but our food was served about 35 mins after arrival. I’m sure it would be quicker if they hadn’t had parties to cater for. The savoury offerings were: finger sandwiches (egg mayo, ham tomato mustard, tuna mayo and cheese and pickle). warm sausage rolls and warm tartlets. The sweet ones: warm scones with ham cream, lemon tartlets and chocolate brownies. Everything was really tasty and plentiful. Extra tea or coffee could be had if desired but we got three delicious cups each from our teapot so needed no more. We had to take a doggy bag home with the cakes we couldn’t manage! All in all, it was lovely and I’d happily revisit. 1 star lost as the conservatory was uncomfortably warm despite air conditioning being on. Not really their fault as it was scorching out, but it made for a slightly less enjoyable stay. It would also be nice if you could choose your fillings? Just a suggestion to “up the game” and become the go to place for afternoon tea?"

"These guys seem to have got mixed reviews so I can only write as I found which is this is some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted. My husband is Indian so I've tasted a few curries in my life, both home...made by him and his family and when eating out. This place brings a unique spin to Asian food which can get quite repetitive amongst curry houses (Madras/Vindaloo/Korma/Tikka Masala again?? as there is much more to Indian/Pakistani food than you'll find in the majority of places. Their naan bread/chapattis/puri/paratha are worth buying more of so you can take a few home and have them for breakfast next morning with any leftover dishes. All the food was excellent and we were all really happy. I especially liked the raita (best I've ever had) for which the gentleman serving gave me the secret ingredient. The lemon rice was something unique I'd never had before and it perfectly complimented my fish curry. The place could do with a bit of a refurb for sure and less cobwebs in the loo, and we did have to wait a long time for our meal which we could tell had been freshly cooked when it arrived. If that had been communicated it would've stopped us wondering what was going on. Please be advised they have no alcohol licence so you'll need to bring your own. Really enjoyed this place, wish I lived closer like the couple on the next table who said they've been customers for 14 years. Excellent value, the meal for four of us cost slightly more than the meal plus drinks for one person at a certain fine dining' restaurant in Ironbridge. I enjoyed it more too."
