"My party of 27 were made very welcome, including 2 vegetarians and 3 gluten intolerant guests. All the food was hot and tasty and arrived within minutes of each other. A section was dedicated to us and due to the extreme warmth we were provided with the tower fan from the kitchen goodness knows how the chef and kitchen assistants were coping! The staff were all very pleasant and eager to please. I was very glad we picked this venue and recommend it. Thank you to everyone that served us and kept us happy."

A very nice pair of burgers and chips. The place is clean, staff friendly, service fast, decor lovely. Good variety of food even a vegan ice cream sundae for pudding! Don't be put off by the area, this is a really nice pub for lunch.

Sunday dinner was excellent. Great family pub in lovely clean, cosy, good old-fashioned pub. Family friendly, even for little ones. Good choice of beers and hubby enjoyed the football being on. Good looking beer garden and nice big car park. Friendly staff. Thank you!

1 Shame the fires weren't lit. As it was a chilli night. 2 Food took a long while on a quiet night while but was lovely when it came it was nice. 3 No healthy option. No healthy starters as everything is fried. 4 No alternative to chips on mains. Maybe you could offer a jacket potato's. Not everyone can eat FRIED food. Not much thought for dietary needs. Other than that lovely. View menu

My husband and I decided to eat out for a change. We were rather disappointed with our choice of venue. The king prawn cocktail with sourdough bread was not worth the £8.50 charged as the prawns were not king prawns, and the bread was a piece of normal thick sliced white supermarket bread cut in half. The sausage on my husbands mixed grill was cold, and the gravy on my meal was tasteless. Not a particularly good experience.

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
