"Just been est est est. Was served by a rude waitress who was not happy that I didn’t look at the iPad for allergy advice. I tried to explain that I’d been before and know my dish is safe. But she said “that’s fine I’ll...have to put you was not willing to look” confused I asked for the manager. Who said she’d had a word and said it’s to agree to the disclaimer. I explained she never explained this to me. The lady continued to serve us even after I complained about her rudeness. Which made me highly uncomfortable. Then the meals arrived mine was loot warm and watery. And as I got further in pulled what I thought was a leaf out of my mouth. It was onion skin. When I complained about the experience from start to finish. Explaining I was a waitress myself. I was met with but onions are in the dish, surely hairs are worse. She removed mine but still wanted us pay for the remains of the bill. Which after how poor the experience was we simply was not happy to do. My place of work would take it off. The manager is highly argumentative and unapologetic. She just gave me excuse after excuse, “but we cook with onions.” “But we offered to make you something else.” I explained that I wasn’t trying to be awkward with working in the industry myself but it had put me off my meal and I didn’t want to eat here. We argued back and forth, she said but it was only my dish. My friend explained she didn’t finish hers as it put her off as it was the same dish! Reluctantly she took both meals off but we had to pay for two cokes “because we had them” but we drank them before even realising the onion skin was in my food. The service was slow after we complained we was left for ages when all we wanted to do was leave the awful experience behind us. I explained the last time I came I loved it. And had an amazing experience and had been telling everyone to go. But this time has meant I’ll never be coming again! AVOID."

"--- **Delivery Meal Review** **Meal Type:** Dinner **Price per Person:** £10–£20 **Food Rating:** 5/5 **Service Rating:** 5/5 **Recommended Dish:** Fish, Chips, and Peas --- The meal I ordered for dinner was absolutely delightful! Priced between £10 and £20 per person, it offered great value for the quality of food. The fish, chips, and peas were a standout—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Additionally, the service was excellent, making the entire experience enjoyable. Highly recommend this dish! --- Let me know if you need any further modifications!"

"Tucked away like a hidden treasure, this restaurant may not immediately catch your eye, but trust me, it's worth a visit. It's a place that defies expectations and pleasantly surprises you. When you walk through the door, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. And when it comes to the food, like the Tagliatella Alla Panna, it's a dish that you won't forget. I eagerly anticipated my meal and when it arrived, it exceeded all expectations. The aroma alone was tantalizing, promising a medley of flavors. Each bite of the homemade pasta, tender chicken, earthy mushrooms, sweetcorn, and colorful peppers in the creamy sauce was a delight. It's a dish that deserves its spot on the menu, a culinary masterpiece that will have you craving more long after you've finished. 12/10 highly recommend!"

"Ordered Tonight On Justeat, The Food arrived baking hot 20/25 Minutes before stated delivery time which was fantastic. I went with BBQ Ribs, Salt and pepper starter combination and a roast duck chow mein The BBQ Ribs: Came in foil container, 5 Ribs in the portion, tasted great, they went a little overboard with the BBQ sauce which made it a touch messy to eat. 4/5 Salt and Pepper Starter Combo: This was the most expensive thing out the three things i ordered at ÂŁ9.00 and it left me with mixed feelings, small ribs, small chunks of salt and pepper chicken and a minimal amount of seaweed and vegitables to go alongside it, However that being said, It did taste nice, Just not enough quantity to warrant the price. 3/5 Roast Duck Chow Mein: Overall the best part of the meal. Came in its own little plastic bowl lots of chunks of meat this time around, soft noodles with it too tasted great. the sauce was really tasty, No complaints, a full five star roast duck chow mein 5/5 Overall: Glad i ordered from here and i will be definatly ordering again. The delivery time was quick and the driver friendly. Food was hot on arrival. Price for this meal was ÂŁ22.70, Would of been nice to get it for ÂŁ20 a touch expensive but not going to break your bank. Would be nice for them to maybe include handwipes in their order as some of the food can be messy or greasy. 4/5 Final Score 16/20 (worth a visit!"

"I decided to stop by Sugo on a whim, even though I know you usually need to make a reservation. However, they were happy to accommodate us. I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at Sugo, and the staff is friendly without being intrusive. I ordered the Sugo House, which consisted of slow-cooked beef shin and pork shoulder with orecchiette in a spicy n’duja sauce. My husband had the Strozzapreti with Tuscan sausage, wild rocket pesto, oven-roasted tomatoes, and parmesan. We also ordered a side dish of tenderstem broccoli with parmesan, breadcrumbs, and garlic, which was perfectly cooked. Although the menu had changed since our last visit, we were not disappointed at all. It was the perfect end to our walk on a beautiful autumn day."

"Thank you Samir. Just finished eating the best takeaway ever! The lamb chunks were tender, cooked beautifully and so tasty, and the aubergine hummus was to die for. I'm not normally a fan of takeaway food but this was so fresh and packed full of flavour, I'm definitely coming back!"

"Went to the store today around 16:30 ordered fish and chips. They said it would be 5 mins. I was on a call so waited outside was the only customer in the shop. They had asked me if I want salt and vinegar and I said plenty. After a while the called out my order trusted them to deliver so did not look when I got home the cod was freshly done but the chips were barely hot and appeared re heated . I called the store to complain the lady who Answered the phone argued with me and basically said I was lying. Instead of listening to me and apologist about my poor experience they argued with me then started discussing me with her colleagues in store while I was on the phone and then hang up. When I called back they did not answer. Beginning to wonder if the reviews about this chippy are genuine or are they just racist Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4"

"I ordered food for delivery two days ago without realizing that the restaurant had changed owners since my last visit. When the food arrived, the driver did not have the correct change for my order and promised to return with it, but never did. The food itself was disappointing; the chicken burger buns were soggy and falling apart, and the burger had a strange texture. The pizza did not match the description online and included tandoori chicken, which was not mentioned. I called the store to address the issues with my order and was told they were busy and would call me back, but never did. After two days of waiting, I went to the store to speak to someone in person, only to be told it was a mistake on their end with no offer to make things right unless I returned the food. It was a frustrating experience, and I would have appreciated a phone call as promised."

"We went as it is close to home, we have previously gone and been satisfied with the menu, food and service. It was a busy day as it was half term. My husband ordered the tapas and was pleased with his dishes, however, I ordered the standard burger and fries. The burger was overcooked dry and looked almost burnt, the fries were cold dry and crunchy. Should have complained but it was really busy and have decided not to go there again."

"I had high hopes for this restaurant as it appeared elegant inside. However, it was not very busy, and now I understand why. While the food tasted good, the portions were small and overpriced. For instance, six small prawns were ÂŁ11, much to my surprise. My companion and I spent ÂŁ50 on food but still needed to eat elsewhere afterwards due to the lack of food. The manager was pleasant but seemed overwhelmed, and other staff members were not very attentive. Our server struggled with English and I had to wait for the manager to take my order, even though it was just reading items off the menu. Additionally, a teenage boy at the bar kept changing the music volume, making it difficult to talk. We were also required to pay a ÂŁ5 service charge, which felt unfair given the poor service. I doubt the restaurant will survive long with this level of operation, which is a shame as a good Japanese restaurant would thrive in Hale. As shown in my photo, the sushi cost ÂŁ10."

"Please note that this review is not directed towards any specific staff members at this restaurant franchise, as they all appeared to be extremely busy and hardworking. However, I believe that Pizza Express as a company is solely focused on maximizing profits, rather than providing high-quality food and positive customer experiences. The tables are arranged so closely together that it can feel uncomfortable and cramped. Additionally, the prices of the menu items are excessively high. I have encountered difficulties using Tesco vouchers on multiple occasions. Due to feeling overcharged and frustrated on several occasions, I have decided not to patronize any Pizza Express restaurants in the future. Furthermore, it is important to note that if they claim you can use your remaining Tesco balance on your next visit, this is incorrect. Pizza Express keeps the difference, causing both the customer and Tesco to lose out."

"Thank you for the hospitality that I received when visiting your Media City restaurant last Friday for a pre-theatre meal. Food and Menu There is a simple menu that includes all the Italian and American classics that people love to eat. The choices are limited however it does cater for a range of diners from the Meat lover to the Vegetarian. In the Starters there is a Garlic Pizza Bread that is tasty with a great Garlic aroma. There is also American Style Nachos with Jalpenos and all the sauces to dip into. It also has Calamari, Ribs and the Chicken Crunch too. In the Mains there is a great selection of Pizzas with good flavours. There are also additional toppings that you can add for an extra charge. There is also a decent variety of Steak, Pasta and Salad dishes for those that fancy those too. For the Burger fan there are some Beef Burgers and a Chicken one too. There is also a wide variety of sides that are a great addition to your meal from Chips, Sweet Potato Fries to Onion Rings and Garlic Bread too. For those with a sweet tooth then there is a selection of popular Desserts including the Warm Chocolate Brownie, Cheesecake and, Tiramisu that is creamy and indulgent to eat. If you like cold Desserts then there is Ice Cream and the Knicker Bocker Glory. For the Starters the Garlic Pizza Bread was tasty however it was too crispy and crunchy to eat. It is usually soft and scrumptious to eat. The Calamari was pleasant to eat but could have been cooked better as it was a bit rubbery to eat. The Chicken Crunch was delicious. It was cooked nicely and the Mayonnaise dip went well with it. For the Mains the Chicken Fillet Burger was well cooked and it was beautifully presented. It was tasty and heart-warming to eat. The Salad and the Mayo added more flavour otherwise it would have been bland just having Chicken inside a Burger Bap. The Sweet Potato Fries were comforting to eat. They were crispy on the outside and were soft on the inside. I love how they are presented in a small pan dish. Cute. The Onion Rings were OK but they broke apart every time I ate them. This suggests that they should have been cooked better to give them a solid texture and stop them breaking. The Dessert was the stand out course of the dinner. The Chocolate Brownie and Ice Cream was lovely in I ts presentation. The Brownie was cooked to perfection. It was not hard to eat or runny with gooey and indulgent Chocolate. Heaven. The Ice Cream was great too as it cut through the richness of the Chocolate adding texture. Drinks They have a good selection of soft drinks which include all the popular ones to have. There is also a small variety of juices on offer too. However they do not serve non-alcoholic Mocktails. Service The service was good. Our waitress was friendly, welcoming and attentive. She gave us the time to choose our dishes. Her suggestions for food were spot on. It was good that the food came out pretty quickly and it was beautifully presented. Lighting and Access The lighting at this restaurant was pretty bright which allows for an enloyable meal for most people including those with visual impairments. Entry to this restaurant is at the Holiday Inn Hotel to which there is a small step to enter into the building. Once inside there is both stairs and lifts to get to the Mezzazine floor. This is where you will find the restaurant. Furniture The furniture here is brilliant. I love the big tables which are spacious. The chairs are big and are comfortable which gives a relaxed ambiance so that you can dine in style. Parking Parking is available at the Quayside Media City UK multi-storey car park (formerly The Lowry). If you are a Blue Badge holder then you will get 4 free hours when stamping your ticket. This takes effect from the time of arrival. Alternatively you can park at the Media City multi-storey which is closer to the venue. Pricing The pricing of the dishes at this restaurant are mid range to fine dining standard. However it is worth it especially if the waiters are good, the food is tasty and that it is beautifully presented. If you love to eat Italian and American food within a relaxed atmosphere then head down to your local Marco’s"

"As others have mentioned, this restaurant is not cheap and the portions are not large. However, the flavors in the sauces are exceptional and make the price worth it. After living in China for 2 years, I can say that these flavors are among the best I have experienced in Chinese cooking. The service was pleasant and attentive, and the decor was pleasing. The walk to the toilets and the facilities themselves could use some improvement, as there were grease stains on the stairs and cobwebs in the bathroom. The roast pork was a bit tough, but the duck and cod fish were outstanding. Despite the smaller portion sizes, we both felt satisfied. The desserts were average, but the "Ice Gateau" was disappointing as it was just a slice of Vienetta with two wafers. Overall, this restaurant may be a bit pricey for a casual Chinese meal or takeaway, but it is great for a special occasion like a birthday where we enjoyed a high standard of Chinese cooking."

"The food here was a limited selection but included light lunch options and kids lunch boxes. There were vegan and gluten free options available too. The main downside was the very slow moving queue hit this place at a peak time on a weekend and you need to expect a wait. Once we had ordered though, the food arrived relatively quickly and was of a good quality. Service: Dine in"

"the personal was friendly, service was good and restaurant nicely decorated. but eating was average. first thing, came on time with a booking for 8 people. kellner went into another room, clear table not ready and fast 2 tables together. a. round and a rectangular. I absolutely hate that in what tries to be presented well. order drinks. orange juice, please! asked if we want fresh or not. we decided to be fresh. then a bottle of black orange came and it says on bottle of concentrate! that's not a fresh orange juice. that is as if the appetizer is fresh apple juice. Two roast dinners. big but this is it. no greener veg that is disappointed. but then we noticed that all the other table roasted had a few brokkoli on it. fish and chips, really thick, not nice, and looks like they were fried and then fried again to heat up. the tower burger was very beautiful and large. the chips look like we're frozen in a pocket! I was here a few times, not least, and not sure whether management or cooking has changed. we usually look forward to coming back, but this time not. yes I could have asked while I was there, but the point is, I shouldn't need."

"The guy who served me this morning couldn’t give less of a damn about customers. When asked about allergens, just shrugged and said “dunno” and then when asked to swap something just in case, he just said “no.” Nothing else. Honestly Altrincham Market has never been the cheapest of places, but the price vs quality of food is ridiculous when given the context of the service I received at Tender Cow. Altrincham Market is trying to sell an experience, and food stations who couldn’t care less about their customers don’t really add to that."
