"I decided to stop by Sugo on a whim, even though I know you usually need to make a reservation. However, they were happy to accommodate us. I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at Sugo, and the staff is friendly without being intrusive. I ordered the Sugo House, which consisted of slow-cooked beef shin and pork shoulder with orecchiette in a spicy n’duja sauce. My husband had the Strozzapreti with Tuscan sausage, wild rocket pesto, oven-roasted tomatoes, and parmesan. We also ordered a side dish of tenderstem broccoli with parmesan, breadcrumbs, and garlic, which was perfectly cooked. Although the menu had changed since our last visit, we were not disappointed at all. It was the perfect end to our walk on a beautiful autumn day."

Probably the best pasta I have ever had, absolutely delicious and the mozzarella is to die for. Alex and his team are amazing hosts. Fabulous location. Sit outside and watch the world go by.

Our lunch was fantastic. The food was exceptional for all three courses. The house red wine was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. Without a doubt, one of the best Italian restaurants in Manchester.

Genuinely beautiful food and wine. It's like they have taken the best Italian food I have ever had, made each individual element 10 times more tasty and then balanced them all to perfection. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall a stunning evening.

I have been walking past this restaurant for months without feeling compelled to visit. However, I finally decided to go tonight and I absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic, the service was personal, and sitting outside and chatting with other diners was a brilliant experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I will definitely be returning!

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
