"Waiting staff were brilliant and couldn’t have been more apologetic. However they are fighting a losing battle as ‘just eat’ is obviously king as the kitchen NEVER Stopped the entire 2 1/2 hours we were there. The customers IN the restaurant were waiting an age for food and drinks but you can’t fault the staff the company wants revenue and they certainly had a big take away trade. That’s great until walk in customers get peed off waiting and don’t go there but to the other outlets nearby. The staff get the brunt of the Instore customers waiting 50 mins for a pizza really is shocking.when it came one was excellent the other average we only got ours as we complained. The manageress was excellent and couldn’t have been more apologetic but she needs a separate kitchen for takeaway orders or if it carries on the place will shut anyway! Great staff shame as they won’t get tips as everyone’s naffed off!!"

"I was looking forward to going to the cinema next door with my partner on a rare day off we had each and decided to pop in here to try it out and ended up regretting that decision. We was welcomed in by a guy at the front desk and taken to a seat. We checked they had a disabled access toilet for my partner as she is a wheelchair user and they did which is the only plus thing in this review. We were seated at a table in a restaurant that was easily less than a quarter full and did not get seen for over 10 mins, not even for drinks, I had to request someone come over as the guy on front desk was on his phone and the 2 waitresses were standing and chatting to each other. Eventually we got served but the waitress taking our order didn't even look at us whilst doing so and was looking at someone else on another table. The vegan milkshake was good and the expresso martini was below average. We both had hot dogs and the bun was dry as old leather, I left mine but my partner was so hungry she forced her way through. The actual hot dog was also dry and with the speed we was served our meal I'm sure it had been cooked a long time ago and left out to dry. Couldn't find anyone to ask for the bill so in the end a guy emerged from a back office and I said I wanted to pay, he gave the bill then asked a waitress to come and setlle up. Terrible food and diabolical customer service. Will not be returning to this establishment any time in the future."

"Decided to have an evening out at the cinema, then wanted something to eat so we went into Frankie and Benny's. First off our waiter was Alex M, fantastic guy who was funny and very helpful and made time for everyone he was serving. Food was excellent had burger followed by tiramisu and coffee, just finished the evening off perfectly. Would definitely go there again."

"I have been dining at this restaurant for the past four years and have always enjoyed the consistently good food. I have never had a bad dish here. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, it is definitely worth it for a special treat. They offer a good variety of dishes, delicious desserts, and the service is usually excellent. In my four years of dining here, I have only had one experience of subpar service, which was likely due to the restaurant being extremely busy."

"My partner and I dined at this restaurant on a weeknight during the summer holidays. Despite the bustling atmosphere, our waiter was prompt in taking our drink orders and bringing our food. Our meals arrived in a timely manner and were served piping hot, causing us to accidentally drop one plate due to the heat. However, the staff quickly replaced it without any issues. The food met the usual high standards we expect from Franky and Bennys. The restaurant is conveniently located a short walk from the Manchester tram stop and provided a pleasant alternative to the typical fish and chips fare."

"I have booked my table and asked for a nice table because it was my son and he had requested this restaurant. when I arrived, we were shown on a ground (instead of the beautiful round stands available) and without mention was made the birthday of my sohnes. actually, when we mentioned it at the end (if the waitress asked if we do something nice later) she did not even know. the burgers we had were average and I fought to find something I liked on the menu. I chose the festive menu with south-facing chicken for starter. they were hard and overcooked to damage the upper inner of my mouth, and the meatball pasta was so disgusting that I sent it back. I didn't eat anything else because I was so impressing with one of my foods. the meatballs were solid, terrible pre-formed dinges, which were shaped into elongated balls, and were hard to bite meatballs instead of the soft mint style I had eaten in others. there was a lot of penne pasta and very little sauce also the restaurant was dark and appeared a little tired, not Indian for the experience I had previously had (fastly a while ago I confess) when I went to the near of the show nr batley, which was expensive, but inviting my sohn will be only once, and although he was glad that he had not disappointed the happy birthday. we have paid the full tip for the waitress because they gave a good service. Perhaps this is only this special restaurant, but because of our experience this time we would not eat here again."

"I made a reservation for a birthday dinner at this restaurant through the app. I received a confirmation email that the reservation had been made. However, when my party of ten arrived at the restaurant, which was only half full, we were told that there was no table available for us because their booking system had not been updated. The staff refused to accommodate us. This was a terrible customer experience and I will not be returning to this restaurant."

"This restaurant review starts off on a negative note, describing a disappointing experience that didn't set the holiday off on the right foot. The reviewer was greeted by a lady to book a table, only to be told that they had no fried eggs or poached eggs, offering only scrambled eggs instead. Despite a pitch about full English breakfasts, the lady seemed more upset than the diners. After waiting what felt like ages for two teas and two bacon rolls, they witnessed another customer sending back their full English breakfast because it was cold. When their own bacon cobs arrived, the bacon appeared undercooked. In the end, the diners walked out without paying and called for the establishment to improve their performance."

"The restaurant met the typical expectations for a chain establishment. The staff were great - attentive but not too overbearing. "The restaurant has a nice ambiance and everything is satisfactory. The only drawback is the slow elevators, which seem to be slower compared to other shopping centers. The parking lot is a good size and well-maintained. It would be beneficial to have more parent and baby rooms available. I had to ask for assistance on how to fully open the door to accommodate the baby carrier in and out of the car."

"Had the BEST experience at this restaurant, went with my sister, ordered one of the hot dogs, my sister ordered the ribs. We were sat down by a young girl who asked for our drink order, we ordered and waiting a little for them, then our server came over, his name was kieran, we told him we were still waiting on our drinks he came over straight away. Had a lovely chat with him, he asked for our order, the food came quick, he asked if we needed a tip up on our drinks, checked our meal was okay and it was lovely. He was SO attentive, smiley and couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Could not recommend this service more due to this young man. He had us laughing the whole time, couldn’t of done more, he was like this with every table he served :"

"Frankie and Benny's is a well-known chain restaurant. Unfortunately, my experiences at various locations have been consistently poor, including the one in Romford. The restaurant is located conveniently near the cinema in the brewery, but in my opinion, that is its only positive aspect. The salads are wilted, the meats and fries are greasy and soggy. The restaurant itself is cramped, making it difficult to navigate, and the atmosphere is dark and dingy. I'm not sure who continues to dine here, as it seems taste is not a priority for them. "Heard so many good reviews about Quays gastro bar in portrush so called in on a Friday around 7.00pm. It was quite busy with holiday families however we had a short wait in the beer garden which was very pleasant and had a beer during our wait for restaurant. The restaurant itself was in contrast to the beer garden was very dark in fact the walls were painted black and ambiance not great for a dining experience (we would have been happy sitting in the enclosed section of the beer garden) The meal itself was fair to poor, my rump steak texture was not like it should be I had the feeling it was put through some sort of tenderising process and not great like a good steak freshly cooked should be, garlic fries were just ok. My wife chicken strips coated in breadcrumbs the coating so salty she could not eat them, I am more salt tolerant but they were so salty I could not eat them either. We are not people who complain and the staff were very pleasant and I did leave a tip. So Quays I have to say huge disappointment and will not return."

"Myself and my partner ate at Frankies in Cramlington last week. From when we got there to when we left we were looked after by a young lady called Lauren. She showed us to our seats which were right in the window and asked if...we would like drinks straight away or she could come back which was nice. After looking at the menu for a few minutes Lauren came to take our order and all questions we had were answered very well. When the food arrived it was served nice and tasted great. After we had finished our food our plates were taken away and we were asked if everything was ok with our meals. We particularly liked this as I don’t like to be bothered during my meal. If it wasn’t nice, then we would inform staff. Lauren returned to our table to ask if we wanted anything more. We paid the bill and left a bigger tip than usual because of the great service."

"We booked a table of via the App it was easy and the email confirmation came straight away we arrived at the restaurant to be told they had no knowledge of our booking!!! They found places for us all split up on separate tables.... what a joke to top it off the food and service was really poor they gave us a discount due to Open Tables poor operations and it ruining our night out. "The food in this Frankie and Benny's is probably the best I've had. Even better than the London restaurants. The BUT is that the service lets it down.. it's very slow. I totally understand that it gets busy and we unfortunately went at a very...busy time, it just seems like the place is very under staffed and Its not fair on the staff that are working their butts off trying to serve and keep everyone happy in a huge packed out restaurant. Our waitress was lovely, although very clearly stressed and running around like a headless chicken all evening she still had a smile on her face and still kept a sense of humour. She was very welcoming and friendly sadly we didn't get her name so I can't give a shout out. Back on to the food it was incredible. SO nice! We shared a started of Mozzarella sticks and meat balls Al Forno, the sauce was really well made, full of flavour, definitely would recommend. (pork meatballs not beef though, just a heads up). The main course came, piping hot and again, full of flavour. Probably the best burger i've had in a while. I hate when you get served a beef burger and its dry. This was defintely not dry it was lovely. Can't comment on dessert because we didn't have time as we were heading over to watch a movie at cineworld and we were just too full from the starter and main courses. The portion sizes were just right. The cocktails were really good too. We also had a shot of Limoncello, which was suggested by our waitress. I enjoyed, sadly my boyfriend found it a bit hard to swallow lol. Will 100% be returning. We had a great evening. Thank you."

"We had some negative experiences at different restaurants in the past, including this one. However, we had a great evening tonight and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was empty, so we were seated immediately. The staff was incredibly attentive, and our food arrived quickly. While it wasn't piping hot, it was very delicious. As a family, we managed to enjoy our meal for £25, including drinks. Our little ones were a bit messy and noisy, but the staff remained very friendly and accommodating. Based on the excellent service we received, we would definitely return. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff!"
